I think this metric should change to Net Earnings. Net Earnings = Gross Earnings - Basic expenses (Rent + Food + Utility bills + Insurance) 80,000 in Tier 1 vs Tier 2 is vastly different in lifestyle.

One thing i have noticed in Pune鈥檚 new real estate launches Balconies are absent and the balconies that are advertised are like windows Proper match box houses like Mumbai Prices are increasing, sizes are decreasing God knows how next gen will afford houses here Don鈥檛 even get me started on amenities, majn general cost, utilities and roads

It is so funny that in a year with favourable circumstances ( eg: long and extreme summer for categories like fans, AC, ice creams), no one in their management earnings calls credits the external circumstances for the amazing growth But in years with unfavourable circumstances ( eg: early rains and disrupted summer for categories like ice creams), everyone in their earnings calls will blame the external circumstances for their poor growth Really funny, but classic human behaviour
