VIDEO | Hyderabad: An eight-month-old infant, allegedly abducted by a watchwoman employed at his family's residence in Boduppal, was rescued safely within three hours by the Medipally Police under the Malkajgiri Commissionerate. The accused, identified as Nalla Durga Bhavani, was arrested, and the child was reunited with his parents after the completion of legal formalities. Uppal Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Suresh Kumar said, "Today, at around 3 pm, the SHO of Medipally Police Station received a Dial 100 call reporting the abduction of an eight-month-old infant boy. Immediately after receiving the call, the SHO and his team responded and formed six special teams. We alerted major railway stations. We also coordinated with the DSPs of Devarakonda and Suryapet and dispatched our teams there. With the help of technical evidence and technical support, we developed crucial leads and traced the accused to the Karmanghat area, where the infant was found safe."
