⠀⠀ ⠀⠀( He didn’t dress up. What a killjoy. )

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀Pardon my absence

Without a thought, Abel’s copy of “Intertwined Vines Within Catacombs” appears in his hand. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Shall I start reading or do you wish to tell me yourself.? “ He finds Sol’s humiliation fun. He could enjoy this feeling forever.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Splendid. “ He pays for the coffee he bought for Sol before bringing the novelist back to the hotel he was staying in. He closes the door to the luxurious room behind him before opening his stupid mouth again ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Now, what were you hiding from me.? “

He removes Sol’s hand from his mouth after a minute of silence. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Shall we talk about this somewhere more private? “ He raises an eyebrow, clearly amused. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” I do have a hotel room around here. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” You have a point but even then you wrote out your sexual fantasies for all to read. “ He snickers. He finds this quite amusing. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Would you like to act upon those fantasies one day? “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” If you’re embarrassed about me reading your erotic works, just know that I have. “ He answers the question on Sol’s mind. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” nothing to be embarrassed about.. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” You bring up a good point with the idea of 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 possibly listening in. “ He can’t help but smirk at Sol’s reaction. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Don’t worry, I won’t scream it from the rooftops. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” You have heard of him, hmm? Quite the way to phrase that, 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐊𝐎. “ He knew. He often does his research on people before giving them the time of day. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” You know, you’re horrible at hiding your reactions. I know your little secret. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” I’ve been reading Low Mystic Muse by Solnishko recently. I’m sure you’ve heard of them, no? “ He knew he was sitting across from Solnishko himself but he wanted the other to figure out that he knew. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” He knows how to write a story that sounds…real… “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” I can tell by how you’re sitting. “ He was also up late last night. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” I was also up late. I’ve been reading a book that I could not put down lately… “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” I can tell you’re tired. Please, enjoy so caffeine. “ Abel was open with Sol. The other was not threatening his life or his power so there was no reason for the Agent of Destruction to act against him. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Up late last night.? “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” You’ve offered me no reason to hurt you so I will be as pleasant as can be. “ He noticed the smile and the hint of tire in the other and orders him a coffee ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” On me. My treat. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Depends on your definition. “ He can’t help but be a smidge difficult for the other to figure out. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Usually, when someone crosses paths with me it isn’t nice. “

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀” Nice to see you again. “ He leans back in his chair, his body language casual. He did choose his words carefully so he doesn’t trigger any alarm bells in Sol’s mind.

Abel is waiting at a table simply waiting for Sol to join him. He takes in the atmosphere around him as he waited.

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀> On my way. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀> I’ll see you there. Little did Sol know, Abel was already there. He happened to be in the area already.

Morning.
