I mean this map works in the two disk dumps you can find of this game online. The two variations change the position of the colored vertical level maps but horizontally it's the same map.

Not gonna say I've gotten "good" at this game because it is incredibly difficult and I'm basically abusing save states when I beat a screen but I've gotten further than any record of the game so far. Found the second post-apocalyptic occultist sewing machine! Whatever that means!
Stumbled across this recent "OCCULT HORROR CYBERPUNK" homebrew MSX game called セカイケイ SEKAIKAI GIRL 黒いミシン and while I haven't quite wrapped my head around what it's about, the vibes are absolutely off the charts.
