Really sad to hear, what a legend!
A credit to the British military and the Special Forces Group.
Rest easy….

Trump’s diesel deal with Putin makes no sense (it’s also immoral since it will fund the ailing Kremlin war machine).
The US has no need of Russian diesel. It already refines more than enough for domestic demand — with 1.5m b/d for export.
Russia has no diesel to export. Ukrainian drones have taken out a third of Russian refining capacity, turning Russia into a net importer of diesel (from India).
The volumes involved are derisory. The initial Russian offer = 2.2m barrels. The US consumes 3.5m b/d.
The price of diesel at the US pump is between $6/6.50. That won’t change before the midterms. The deal does nothing to help Trump in these elections.
But it bolsters Putin and undermines Ukraine.
Imagine feeling so safe that you believe you have the right to criticise and dictate the behaviour and language of the very people who sacrifice every day to protect you from threats you don’t even know exist… 🤔
Our SAS was formed to carry out a duty that is alien to most humans and they’re the best at what they do.
I was the DS for the three lads that died on selection and can confirm they give their all throughout and it was a tragedy, since then those lads have had nothing but respect!
Stop pretending you have ownership on words, the dark sense of humour keeps our armed forces moving forward during times of conflict, in situations you couldn’t imagine in your worse nightmares.
Support those who sacrifice their journeys to protect you on yours! 🇬🇧
EXCLUSIVE: Special forces soldiers believe they are “untouchable” and not all of them are the heroes they think they are, according to a former female civil servant who worked alongside them.
Monica Grenfell, who was employed at the Special Air Service (SAS) headquarters in Credenhill, near Hereford, for three years, said some of the elite troops were “feral” and it was “the nasty characters who really ruled the roost”.
She has given evidence under oath to the Afghan Inquiry and has now been interviewed by @thetimes

Agreed. A country that fails to stand up for its troops is in peril… (and don’t expect perfect language when people have been through hell, on their country’s behalf.) Anyone that has signed on that dotted line deserves their nation’s respect.
I mean wow. Troops engaged in gun battles with the enemy every night and every day.
Night after night.
Week after week.
Month after month (sometimes for years).
Some people fail to realise that we sleep safely in our beds at night because these men and woman are constantly engaged in preventing attacks against this country. We should be focused on the sacrifices and their service not whether they swear at each other. We definitely shouldn’t compare their extraordinary roll to other professions.⬇️

Well said Simon Jordan - who points out some inconvenient truths on illegal migration. And no, his commentary isn’t racist. He’s simply saying in blunt terms what millions of people are saying up and down the country. And no, they aren’t racist either.

My advice on all the noise around Russia at the moment would be keep calm and listen to the Brits. Why? ⬇️
1. We have the best intelligence agencies in the world.
2. Any major movement of troops or military equipment by an adversary is difficult to conceal.
3. The indicators and warnings usually build up over weeks.
However, I hope:
1. That the Government is taking readiness very seriously.
2. We are attempting to track elite drone Units and equipment. Little Green Men in 2014 will turn to Little Green Drones in 2026/27.
3. We are working in coordination with Joint Expeditionary Forces Allies to ensure our posture and potential response is aligned.
4. That any options have been briefed to the SofS and primed.

Farmers produce around 65% of the food we eat and manage most of Britains land. Backing them is not nostalgia. It is national food security.

Nairobi Hotel Attack Survivor Describes Hiding For 17 Hours From Terrorists
“When you think you’re on your own, when you think you’re being left in a building to be murdered by terrorists, and you get a text that says U.S. and UK Special Forces are here... that was the turning point. I’ll never be able to put into words the gratitude I felt. They came for me anyway. I’m not on American soil and they don’t know me. But they came for me.”
“The first thing I said was thank you. I was sobbing, and then I handed him a letter. In the letter I said, ‘I hope that you never forget that you didn’t save me. You gave my parents back their daughter, my brother back his sister, my husband back his wife. And you did that 700 times.’ He literally gave me the gift of my life.”

[🚨💣] BREAKING: Klopp on Florian Wirtz: "The exchange with Flo was very pleasant. We're keeping in touch regularly and I tell him some things I saw when I watch the Liverpool games.
I think he's the player who covered the most ground at Liverpool this season, so the willingness is absolutely there.
We have to move away from expecting to see special moments from him. He needs to help us as a team. We have to make sure that Flo feels comfortable with us. When the team works, then every player shines as a consequence.
We need to be satisfied when Flo Wirtz plays a game in which he gave everything but didn’t register a goal or assist. We simply need to give the boy the feeling: ‘That was more than good enough today. You helped us as a team. We won 1–0 or 2–0.’
And then all the experts in the world sit there and discuss why he still hasn’t worked out. There are just as many reasons to say: ‘He’s working perfectly well.’ Now let’s take the next steps together.' - that applies for Flo and all the others"

This is the OFFICIAL preview of my upcoming interview with Christian Craighead, where he returns to tell the full story of what happened on January 15, 2019, at the Dusit D2 complex in Nairobi.
The last time Christian was here, he made me a promise. If he ever told the full story of the attack in Nairobi, he would tell it here.
He kept that promise.
For the first time, Christian sits down to give his full account of the attack, the decisions he made inside that hotel, and the people he fought to save.

Let’s stop calling millionaires ‘millionaires’ & start calling them ‘highest tax payers’. Then maybe we won’t force them all out of the U.K.

Jermain Defoe:
"I remember during my second season at Sunderland, our press officer, Louise Wanless, told me one day, 'There's a boy who wants to meet you.'
She explained that Bradley Lowery had neuroblastoma and that I was his favourite player.
I said, 'Of course. No problem.'
I didn't know what to expect. I thought he'd be really shy and quiet.
But as soon as he walked into the dressing room, he ran straight over, jumped onto my lap and gave me the biggest hug.
After that first meeting, I asked Louise to put me in touch with his family so I could visit him in hospital.
At first, I went with other players, but then I started going on my own. I just wanted to spend as much time with him as I could.
We had a natural connection. A bond that I still can't explain.
I got so used to having him around Sunderland that I really struggled after he was gone.
He taught me to appreciate life and the people around me so much more.
He changed me. He changed my whole perspective." ❤️

Total wealth of UK billionaires is £620 billion
If we confiscated all of their wealth, we’d only be able to run the UK government for about 5 to 6 months, can you actually believe it?
Our problem isn’t how much billionaires have, it’s how much the government spend & waste
Andy Burnham, this is your new challenge
This is nonsense,
I agree with Matt Walsh that fitness every day will help shape your mind in such a way it’s will be transformational but, there’s a place for therapy too.
It teaches you how to handle your thoughts and empower individuals to set boundaries and take control of life.
No therapist should be telling you what to do but give you the tool kit to make better less emotional decisions for a better life 💭
