Digger is the this generation's Lebowski. Totally dividing on release. Acknowledged as an art and culture masterpiece and living on for eternity through memes, quotes and the inevitable nerdy fan club. It's that impactful. Stupid, hilarious-sad-beautiful all of it. It's the most audacious and original film statement in years. And, in a weird way, the spiritual sequel to Children of Men. If you hated it on first watch, do it again. Trust me.
Digger sfugge a qualunque etichetta.

Legendary actor Mandy Patinkin has shared a video and some passionate words praising Digger! "The theater was packed. When it was finished the audience just sat there as the credits rolled. Stillness. You know how rare that is for people to not jump up and start yammering or scrolling or move on to the next thing? There was stillness and awe, gratitude and sorrow and astonishment both with the film and this world we have allowed. This movie being slammed by reviewers is beyond comprehension. Anyone who is dragging this piece through the mud should get a brain scan or see it again as they must not have been paying attention. This is one of the most daring, original, provocative pieces of art I’ve seen and bravo to every person that laid a hand on it. I’d have given my right arm to be an extra in this movie (I’m right handed). This craft, like many other things nowadays, feels in peril. The systems at play encourage mass appeal above all else. Digger is a battle cry for art, for waking up, for demanding an actual attention span of your audience and for the miracle of having a point of view. To horrify, delight, wildly surprise repeatedly and inspire us to fight for our world before it’s too late is an incredible accomplishment. Don’t listen to rotten tomatoes. Find an actual person who saw this movie. Listen to them. Tomato tomaaato! F*%k that stupid nonsense percentage bulls$/t. It’s so dumb. Go see this movie. Thank you @diggerthemovie!"

Observation #19 in MIN win vs Tampa - It is time to have serious discussions about Brian Flores being head coach in MIN and get a real offensive coordinator for the Vikings. KOC’s offensive play calling, execution, and slow play calling is hurting this team.

Digger is going to cause chaos. The social media embargo for Alejandro Iñárritu’s film drops this Tuesday, and word is the internet discourse is going to be absolutely massive. While some are nervous, an unhinged, high-risk swing from Tom Cruise and Iñárritu is exactly what cinema needs. It's always much better to see a polarizing, bold artistic gamble than a safe, predictable movie.
