Always fun to be apart of the 2021 class 🙄. Covid hits our junior year of high school, nobody knows what that’s going to happen with scholarship numbers. Compete our entire career against 2020’s who had an extra Covid year. Now 5 for 5 gets passed the year after we’re done!

Quick thread with some thoughts🧵: We can simplify this. The answer is a CBA. Stop treating student athletes as independent contractors. Make them W-2 employees of the university. Let them collectively bargain for higher revenue margins, better protections, and real structure.

The transfer portal is dicey, but it’s simple logic: if coaches can buy out their contracts and leave whenever they want, you cannot justify restricting players from doing the same. Real contracts. Real buyouts. Same rules for both sides.
