Excited to see Angel City take on Gotham tonight! Except, uhh... did I miss a few rule changes over the pandemic?

Hoping everyone gets back to rollering fast and derbying safely in 2022.

Yeah, I've seen and noticed it too. Still no change in plans for derby to be happening there AFAIK, even if it's an exhib gm or something.
It was always for the best that JFTDA never got off the ground. Unifying by dividing was bad idea from the start. Glad WFTDA came around.
What this rules news isn't changing: Elite Jrs can't play w/adults til 18yo. JRDA will continue to work w/USARS,RDCL to offer opportunities.
… WFTDA/MRDA eds will become "adult" rules. Updated timeline for rules docs releases/updates. Junior/JRDA rules out on June 15. Whew.

Lots happening in this rules partnership announcement: JRDA will have official input into rules. JFTDA is nixed. Still mods for Jr play. …

We'll see if the people running FIRS derby do.

Oh no, more countries are involved with roller derby! What a terrible, terrible fate for the game. #sadday

… Regardless, FIRS's website directly relates to its current involvement in organizing comps. No shit, sherlock.

It's an issue unrelated to this discussion. The IOC doesn't have "robust website" on its checklist, I guess. …

Yeah. Showing me FIRS' empty website despite it having no bearing on the political machinations makes TOTAL sense.

Yeah. Also look at how empty FIRS' skateboarding website is. Not a deterrent to IOC/Olympic credibility I guess.

If you're going to play that card then WFTDA's baf rules begat USARS derby begat FIRS derby. Who started this mess?

Who gives a shit? Derby will win out in the end.
