Our first modular data center completed manufacturing earlier this month. Inside, it houses 50kW worth of servers. It’s a humble start to a big mission. This unit is Strata’s first modular infrastructure lego. One of many we plan to produce for our first zone in southern Colorado. Planned total capacity for Zone 1 in the San Luis Valley is 3 megawatts. My vision is that we will decentralize the way we build data centers. Smaller, distributed, and placed where the grid has room. We don’t require new substations, power plants, or even water.
