I want the delusional portion of his fans to see this. Staying in CLE is the best thing for him right now. Especially seeing that this “generational” QB class ain’t looking so generational right now. Someone in CLE obviously likes him and wants him there. Just trust the process.

The level of talent at QB needed to overcome a bad organization comes once in a generation, most of the college qbs that fail in nfl do so because they land in a bad org. And the ones that get a “second chance” that succeed just landed in the wrong org to start with.

Sources say that the decision between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders truly came down to the end. Both showed flashes of what a QB1 in Todd Monken’s offense could look like.
In the end, the decision leaned toward Watson’s experience. But it’s my understanding that he will have to continue earning it once the season starts and the games are for real. Todd Monken has been by his side the entire time.
