Intrigued whether we see something like this - with the main point of reference for change being Morgan Rogers’ role against AMN If we were to go in more of a 4-4-2 shape (as we did against Bournemouth), it would look something like the 2nd image - Neto latching onto the LB (Branthwaite/Mykolenko), Palmer & Pedro front two jumping to the two CBs, Rogers LM jumping/following the RB This would allow Everton with how they build to drag Chelsea’s left-side deeper, AMN pulling Rogers away, Johnson pinning Chavarria and then Armstrong who often drifts low to high/wide dragging Henderson/Moi away from the centre So is Alonso going to go 5-2-3 to manage those distances better on the left? It would keep Rogers higher for transition threat too, which has been key to Chelsea’s success this season
