Kaspa Developer Completes Key Step Toward Private KAS Payments
Kaspa (@kaspaunchained) Privacy Initiative developer Olaf Weller (@WellerOlaf) says a proof of concept for shielded native $KAS has been completed on testnet TN10.
The tests demonstrated transaction ordering, zero knowledge proof execution, and proof based settlement on Kaspa Layer 1.
Next, developers plan to design private notes, commitments, nullifiers, and the zero knowledge proof rules for shielded payments.
Weller stressed that the system has not been independently audited and is not yet a finished privacy protocol.

Kaspa macht einen wichtigen Schritt beim Ausbau seiner Token-Infrastruktur.
Der KCC-20-Standard hat offiziell den Status „Last Call“ erreicht – die letzte Prüfphase vor einer möglichen Finalisierung.
KCC-20 soll einen einheitlichen technischen Standard für fungible Token innerhalb des Kaspa-Ökosystems schaffen.
Konkret definiert die Spezifikation unter anderem:
• Token-State und Token-Mengen
• Transfer-Schnittstellen
• Eigentums- und Autorisierungsregeln
• Borrowed-Receive-Mechanismen
• standardisierte Programminformationen für Wallets und Anwendungen
Warum ist das relevant?
Ein gemeinsamer Standard schafft eine einheitliche Grundlage, auf der Entwickler Wallets, Anwendungen und weitere Token-Tools für Kaspa aufbauen können.
Damit geht es bei KCC-20 nicht einfach um die Einführung eines weiteren Tokenformats, sondern um grundlegende Infrastruktur für ein programmierbareres Kaspa-Ökosystem.
Wichtig: „Last Call“ bedeutet noch NICHT, dass KCC-20 final verabschiedet ist. Die Spezifikation befindet sich weiterhin in der abschließenden Prüfphase.
Für Kaspa ist das dennoch ein weiterer konkreter Entwicklungsschritt, den wir genau beobachten werden.

Wallets and indexers: how are you planning to tell identical KCC-20 tokens apart?
I deployed two tokens with the same name, ticker and image. The only difference between them is the covenant ID.
I can show the covenant ID, but how does that help a normal user? Are they expected to compare it against the project’s website themselves? Will every comment section turn into “yeah, but did you check it was covenant ID d9182f3e6fdbf9e98d4ecae07dccd3a022606810720259f40eb4133686d05f4d before buying?”
For a wallet it’s mostly a display problem. Trading platforms and DEXs have the harder job. I’d love to hear how others are approaching it.

118,672,498.26 ZEAL has been permanently burned across Igra and Kasplex L2.
That includes the entire 24M ZEAL team allocation, the Insurance Fund allocation, and the protocol controlled Farm and Infinity Pool reserves outlined in our recovery plan.
The burn exceeds the 97.43M ZEAL incident supply gap by more than 21.24M ZEAL, covering it approximately 1.22x and reducing ZEAL’s maximum supply from 240M to 218.75M.
There is no future team unlock from the burned allocation and no future inflation from the Farm and Infinity Pool reserves we removed.
The incident did not originate from ZealousSwap, but we chose to take responsibility for how we respond to it.

KSKD now trades on Robinhood Chain, on @fablesfi , a dynamic-fee exchange built on @Uniswap v4. Same token, same 1B supply, no new allocation. @MEXC stays open.
@AppKaskad has been live on @RobinhoodApp Chain since early October, with robinhood:0xd0601ce157db5bdc3162bbac2a2c8af5320d9eec robinhood:0x322f0929c4625ed5bad873c95208d54e1c003b2d and robinhood:0x39dbed3a2bd333467115de45665cc57f813c4571 markets. The footage of a woman with a “Release The Epstein Files” shirt stands at a Trump rally shouting at Trump to release the Epstein files and gets physically beaten by the MAGA men around her while the crowd chants “USA”.
I defended MAGA for years... I find this disgusting and outrageous.
