The woman who died in Texas came from an anti-choice family and was supposedly pro-abortion ban herself.
After her avoidable death, her mother is quoted as asking “why didn’t they help the miscarriage along?”

Internet has been down at my house since Thursday afternoon. I teach online classes. AT&T says they have no idea when service will be restored.

my dad keeps ranting about how colleges can’t teach shakespeare and milton anymore because of woke and nothing will convince him that’s not true, not even the fact that i teach shakespeare and milton at a college

Conservatives are convinced Kamala would melt down doing a full Rogan interview, but if there's anyone who knows how to make charming small talk with people who aren't nearly as smart as they think they are for long periods of time, it's the wife of an LA entertainment lawyer.

If I say, “My wife had an incomplete miscarriage, & was refused the abortion care she needed”.
& your response is, “Miscarriage has nothing to do with abortion!”.
You’re an idiot.

Gov. Walz: We just found out Trump had his branded Bibles printed in China. This dude will even outsource God. But hey, I don’t blame Trump for not noticing the ‘Made in China’ sticker. They put them on the inside, a part of the Bible that he’s never looked at

So far, this feels like Tim Walz is doing an intervention for Vance’s soul, and Vance is like no, actually, Satan pays great.

My God. Watching a Trump supporter trying to debate policy is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

"Folks, it's unbelievable, believe me. Migrants are taking the geese—geese from the parks, the lakes, you name it. Now they're even taking pets! My dog—gone! I asked Melania, ‘Where's the dog?’ She says, ‘We don’t have a dog.’ Sad! Total disaster. They got us already, folks. Bigly!"

while haiti is in the news so much this week maybe we should all take a moment to discuss the fact that their economic destitution is entirely due to being forced to spend ~80% of their federal budget every year for 150 years on reparations to france for freeing the slaves

Here's the entire exchange that started with Kamala pointing out how Trump's rallies are both nuts and boring, Trump losing his shit and saying they are the most incredible rallies in history before spreading the hoax about Haitian immigrants eating cats and dogs, and then David Muir fact-checking the ex-president on his racist lie.

When she said people walked out of his rallies early because his act had become boring, you could just see something in him snap. It was like getting hit by a knockout punch you couldn’t recover from. Whoever decided on that knows Trump very, very well and it worked perfectly.
