CBC used to be a trusted network. Mark Carneys speech was cut short so they could air PP rambling for 15 minutes. Don’t trust the CBC anymore. #cbc #uncanadian

On this day in 1812, the Battle of Queenston Heights was fought. The British and Canadian troops, and their Mohawk allies, defeated the American invaders. Over 100 soldiers died in the battle, including British Major General Isaac Brock. 🎨 John David Kelly

Dame Judi Dench is right: trigger warnings have gone too far. Quite simply, if you’re easily offended, don’t go to the theatre. Speaking to Brendan O’Hea, Dame Judi said: “I think they have gone too far. It’s mollycoddling. If you’re that sensitive, don’t go to the theatre. “By all means keep warnings about strobe lighting and gunshots, and obviously there should be age limits for children, but that’s about it. “Otherwise, where will it end? The trigger warnings before Titus Andronicus would be longer than the play.” Read more on @DailyMail 👇
