中国spot price continues a downward slide to the low $20s equivalent as the country takes a “Golden Week” holiday. Japan Aug import data finally showed a drop to the low $40s. Spot price is now below many converter’s cost. Except in a few cases with LiOH, inventories are gutted.

For all the hubris thinking having a fixed money supply is the optimal idea, just have a quick look at this graph showing deflation in the UK post WW1. The pound was pegged to gold and most of the gold was in the hands of a few (50% for the US). Deflation destroys economies
