#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs, has been undergoing tests for days. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played without having slept.

Some of you have been interested in me, so here’s today’s cancer update: Saw oncologist. Next surgery should be around Halloween or shortly after. Have to remove some lymph nodes and some more colon. Will get to keep most of the colon though, so no ostomy bag. Have to see cardiologist to make sure minor blockage of artery leading to left side of heart will be small enough to allow for surgery. Also have to get a colonoscopy before surgery to make sure everything is ok on the other end of my colon. Will be restricted to lifting no more than 10 pounds for 6 weeks after surgery. Then after all that, chemotherapy. Bonus fun: Got the bill from TMC for first surgery. May have to do bikini car wash to pay for it (I look frightening in a bikini 😂). All this could be worse so I’m grateful that it’s likely I’ll live for a little while longer at least. 😬 Thanks for all the kind words and being supportive. I appreciate you.
