A few years ago, Ashu had a high-paying corporate job in London, earning millions. Saurav was writing about the country’s legal system and living a great life. Both had successful careers, financial security and every reason to continue living the lives they had built for themselves. But they chose to give it all up in the hope of making this country a better place. They had absolutely no reason to leave behind their comfortable lives, take to the streets, face uncertainty and eventually end up in jail. Yet they did. What I admire most about these two is that despite coming from privileged backgrounds, they chose to fight for those who aren’t as fortunate. They could have easily looked the other way, enjoyed their lives and never bothered about the struggles of people they had never even met. Nobody asked them to make these sacrifices. Nobody expected them to. But they did, because they genuinely care about people beyond themselves. And to me, that is the greatest quality a human being can have. To stand up for people you don’t know, to fight battles that aren’t your own, and to risk everything you have so that someone else might have a better life. That’s the kind of people Ashu and Saurav are.

Govt has resources, manpower, and money, but they don’t have the intention to fix the problems of common citizens.
this government’s priorities are genuinely fucking disgusting. just two weeks ago, hundreds of lady shri ram college students were on the streets protesting for basic rights, demanding functional CCTV cameras, better lighting, pink booths, security especially around gate 7 & the back gate. women were on the streets demanding basic safety and the government headed by rekha gupta couldn’t show the same urgency. but just a day before the Jantar Mantar protest on 10th october, suddenly there’s an order to install 1,000+ cameras around the protest site. THOUSANDS. yeah they successfully installed more than thousand cameras in just 2 days. apparently, the government knows how to mobilise resources overnight when it comes to keeping an eye on citizens who raise their voices, but becomes deaf, dumb and paralysed when young women from one of the finest institution of this country demands protection in the nation’s capital. they have the machinery to watch you, the manpower to stop you and the resources to control & suppress you. what they apparently lack is the urgency to protect you. the most fucking shameful part? delhi has a woman chief minister, yet women’s safety seems to be the last thing on this government’s priority list. when women demand protection, the system goes silent. when citizens prepare to protest, suddenly the cameras, barricades and police are ready. if a woman becoming chief minister doesn’t make women’s safety a priority in nation’s capital, then what the fuck was the point of having one? and some of you spineless clowns still have the fucking audacity to defend this government & their spineless actions?!!

It seems like a total blackout of Jantar Mantar protest on so called TV news channels.. the top story is that the monsoon session begins today and Modi to speak at the podium shortly.. have some shame editors.. this is not journalism, this is you being part of the problem and then you complaint when people call you Godi media and raise slogans against poor reporters..

Notion is slowly becoming AI bloatware. I don’t need AI everywhere. I need a good notes app. Trying @craftdocsapp these days and really liking it. Clean, fast, beautiful UI, and now they have added task management as well. Let's see how it goes.

India's education system is the ONE thing that works. We have terrible air, roads, food, corruption but we still produce some of the best brains in the world. If we lose that too, it's all over. Love or hate Sonam Wangchuk, I think he's fighting for the right cause.

With AI, companies have started focusing on talent density more than ever. The amount and quality of work “one talented person + AI” can do, outpaces what a mediocre team of 5 to 10 can. If you want to stay relevant, become High Quality at what you do. Don’t be someone who just mindlessly does what they’re told. Be someone who takes ownership and delivers quality outcomes. And learn how to do this effectively with AI. This is true for any profession, but much more true for software developers.

I see so many projects around civic improvement (I have one too) but I feel too often we are all duplicating each other's work. I am happy to play the role of organiser, fundraiser, etc so we can align our efforts for greater impact. If you're working on something similar please post it in the comments below so we can find each other.
Ok we begin 🇮🇳, A project that aims to kill corruption, babu culture, bureaucratic bottlenecks that are slowing India down. Made with super powerful Sarvam AI 105B parameter models. Demo video out soon.
