Never been a Jay-Z fan. Not to say the man wasn’t good at his craft but never a fan. Definitely not a fan of the person he presents as. He’s in the same boat as Stephen A with me. That’s the tweet
Let's goooooo 🔥🔥🔥

I generally go by what albums I go back to more often.
I rarely throw on a full G Rap album, but Cuban Linx stays in heavy rotation and Rae still out shines Rappers on new shit too.
My list has Rae and Ghost ahead of G Rap.
We aren't online for nuance, we are online FOR BLOOD.

Good, this is what is needed.
Disney is reportedly panicking over ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’ test screenings.
Early viewers describe it as a "completely humorless, harrowing bloodbath" with a massive superhero death toll. One insider claims: "It feels like a mass execution of the franchise.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quoted claims about Avengers: Doomsday test screenings originate from a self-described parody account and contradict credible reports of positive early reactions. Actual feedback has described screenings as "good" with executives "pleased."

EVEN, Bandcamp, and Audiomack all have solutions to this.
They may not be as frictionless as streaming services but they do give you the ability to listen to the music you bought after you buy it.
I think the bigger issue is that the majority of music that people consume is on streaming services so there’s friction in changing platforms to buy directly from an artist which creates more steps in the process.
Like if I buy yo album from bandcamp , I gotta go into my files folder and either put that folder into an app like untitled which has limited storage or play the files using YouTube or Spotify playing local files. If I have to get on YouTube or Spotify to play the music I bought , why wouldn't I just stream it from there.
The DTC model doesnt address actually listening to the music in our everyday settings. It just addresses artists not getting paid lolll (capitalism) and people dont really give a fuck if the artist gets paid or not , they want an easy fluid way to listen to music.

While we’re doing controversial John Carpenter takes
I didn’t realize how amazing Escape from LA was until I went to LA
I’ll defend that movie until I die
100000% this.
And I'm a guy selling music on Bandcamp.
But this is rhe real issue.
