The end of Flanders-Baloise once again exposes the broken business model of professional cycling. A sport that relies 95% on sponsors, with almost no recurring revenue, is simply not sustainable.
Trieste eindbalans van wielerseizoen: 2 ploegen stoppen, 2 fuseren - 50 à 60 renners op straat. Sponsors haken af of hebben bekend gemaakt dat ze niet verlengen. Huidig business model met quasi volledige afhankelijkheid van sponsors is onhoudbaar in moeilijke economische tijden
Regel die zijn nut ver voorbij gegaan is… Een boete of alternatieve straf geven is ergens nog begrijpelijk, maar die jongen zijn trui afnemen zonder dat hij iemand in gevaar brengt is triestig

I think they should change the current 3k rule in flat stages in grand tours, before the 3k mark you don’t even see the sprinters teams at the front and it leads to too many crashes. I think they should take effective times at 3k and extend 3k rule to 10k #Giro2023

One of the more underrated riders in the peloton. Strong, decent sprint, good stamina. Can potentially even help out in hillier races. If you’re not sure, put him in a testlab. I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the results. Him not being signed by a competitive team makes no sense.
