I always leave IAC inspired. It’s been a week now back in Germany, and I’m still grateful I got to be in the same place as so many passionate people working in space across so many different sectors. It’s one of the rare times you can see what everyone across the world is doing in literally every aspect of space, and that’s so inspiring for me. It’s a chance to get exposed to things I don’t think about on a daily basis and to meet super smart people, from folks with 50+ years in space to people just starting their journey, all in the same place. I’m also glad we were part of the Bremen booth this year, and I hope people were able to pick up some of our postcards there! If not, I have a few I can share ;) Lots of great meetings with people across the industry, from the business side to other ground station operators, satellite operators, investors, and people building the infrastructure we need for the future space economy. It was really productive to hear so many different perspectives. Humanity’s journey into space requires global collaboration. Reaching the stars and reaping the benefits for life on Earth is and always will be a planetary scale endeavor. I think that’s why space attracts so many cool, interesting people and diverse perspectives, and it’s what I always come back to because for me personally, it’s what makes this industry such a joy to work in. Sadly my phone broke during the off road jeeping part of the mountain tour so not too many photos from the event since I am trying to improve my social media skills always, but fortunately, I have a few to share that came from other people. It was nice to live in the moment for a few days without a phone!

Had a really nice week at WSBW in Paris. Countless conversations that inspired me across the week and plenty to reflect on over the weekend, but what is clear is that there is a need to expand our connectivity infrastructure across earth and space, ensuring sovereign access to data and lowering the operational burden of ground infrastructure. It will take everyone in the industry building and pushing the boundaries to make that happen globally. That is one of the things I appreciate about the space industry, just how global it is and how open we are to building partnerships and collaborating to make a bright future for humanity in space, leveraging space to improve our lives on earth and expand our presence beyond. A special thank you to the whole team at @Novaspace_ not only for the event but inviting @decenspace to participate in the pitch competition. Looking forward to next year and now back to Berlin and back to building!

Pitching at @nvs_summits World Space Business Week, September 16th! Looking for not only sharing the vision of @decenspace but engaging in valuable conversations with people across the industry pushing the boundaries in space technology and developing the growing market in space!

It was a great week at SmallSat in Utah. I am amazed that at a four day event going all day, every day, and I still did not have time to see everyone I wanted to, but the plus side is I met a lot of really cool new people during the time there. The space industry feels so big and so small at the same time. So many great conversations throughout the week. I really value the perspectives from across the industry, and getting to know the people making the current and future space industry real. At the end of the day, that is what this is about, all of us excited about pushing humanity into the stars. Now making a quick family visit to the Midwest, but I will be in San Francisco all of next week. If you are in the Bay Area and working in or investing in space, I would love to meet up.
