The very definition of totalitarian
I honestly do not understand how any American who is not already a literal Communist or a literal Jihadist could vote Democrat after hearing what Slotkin said below.
This is LITERALLY totalitarianism. It's not the fake "fascism" the Left likes to accuse the Right of, it is the REAL THING.
Undeniably.
Irrefutably.
This is a sitting member of Congress who was in the CIA saying that dissent from what she believes will result in imprisonment.
This is straight out of Solzhenitsyn. Straight out of Orwell. This is something an early Nazi would have said in 1932 under the Weimar Republic.
Please please PLEASE share her words with everyone you know. The Democrat/Media Complex will try to bury this. It is up to us on social media, on blogs and via texts and emails to get the word out.
The only way to stop these monsters is to make sure that voters who don't really keep up on politics understand the actual threat, see it with their own eyes and hear it with their own ears.
Please. Spread the word to anyone who will listen. And even those who won't listen.

Listen, sweetheart.
You’re not the victim.
You explicitly called for prosecutions of Trump officials—to deter young conservatives from public service.
This is textbook fascism.
This is why we have the Second Amendment.
Go fuck yourself.
This man, @mrddmia, who is suggesting I be shot, was in the mix to be President Trump's next Attorney General after he fired Pam Bondi for not prosecuting more of his political opponents. He is now at a MAGA dark money group, mobilizing death threats against me and my staff for sport.
This shouldn’t be controversial: if you aid in stealing taxpayer money or directing it to enrich President Trump or his family, then you should be held accountable for that crime. That’s what I said, and I stand by it.
And if you use the justice system for frivolous lawsuits used to intimidate and jail your political opponents, you should be held accountable for that via your bar status. No abuse of power and not violating the law? Then we have no problem.
We know most Republican politicians are desperate to change the topic from their failing agenda. That’s how this kind of coordinated right-wing media play works. The threats and intimidation — of me, my staff, and my family — *are the point* of this kind of play. This dude and so many others are just hoping that we'll shut up in response.
Not going to happen.

This all started because you were clutching pearls.
The only people more hypocritical than democrats in congress are former spooks.
Spare me the pearl-clutching — especially from Republican Members of Congress and online MAGA grifters who have cheered President Trump's weaponization of the government against those he doesn’t like, as recently as last week. This is a subject I know something about: Less than a year ago, Trump directed the DOJ and FBI to investigate me, and then tried to criminally indict me for a 90 second video, exercising basic free speech. The same free speech you’re exercising now, lying about what I said in this clip. If not for an anonymous group of grand jury members standing up for America's laws, I’d be criminally indicted for sedition. President Trump has turned the government against people, with raucous support from you and virtually all D.C. Republicans. So spare us the manufactured outrage.
America must be a place where the rule of law still matters. Those laws should apply to everyone equally. If you have aided in the corrupt use of U.S. taxpayer dollars to benefit the President or his family, or you have violated the law in order to carry out guidance from the President, you should be held accountable. And given how rampant that corruption appears to the average American, people looking to work for his Administration should realize that while the Supreme Court has granted the President immunity, it has not done the same for those who do illegal things at his behest.

“Yes, I know: Everyone’s bond yields have gone up, including Uncle Sam’s. Indeed, the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield was yielding 5.22 percent on Friday, higher than the French. And the U.S. deficit for 2027 will be about the same as the French. The difference is that the U.S. economy is growing at 6.3 percent nominal (including inflation). The equivalent number for France? It’s 1.9 percent. When growth is above the interest rate, you’re okay. When it’s the other way round, you’re heading for a crisis.” Sir @nfergus in @TheFP. (Link in replies.)
The bond crisis/riots across Europe and deficits in the U.S. along with our national economic unease all share a common root: Countries cannot ignore the realities that (1) distributions from the government cannot exceed receipts forever; (2) total taxes cannot be increased beyond 50% without enormous resentment from the taxed and (3) countries’ economies must grow or those countries will become unstable.
Thus it has always been. Thus it will always be. There isn’t any silver bullet. The vast majority of adults must work from 18 to 70 and beyond, and the work must mostly be within the private sector. The politics of the immediate future in the U.S. and abroad have to return to these realities: “Tax and spend” does not work, has never worked and won’t work next year or next decade. Elected officials have to grapple with entitlements across the globe or the unrest will grow. As Sir Niall Ferguson argues: Blame your grandparents.

Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine.
Watch every second of his response.
"We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing."
"I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day."
"I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing."

🚨 NEW: Becerra just dodged another debate. This one was on ZOOM!
UCLA wanted us to debate agriculture policy. I said yes right away. He said he was “booked up for the remainder of the YEAR.” Doing what?!
Farmers are getting crushed in this state and Becerra doesn’t think they’re worth his time. Pathetic!
Basement Becerra. California is a one party state and its rulers are selected CCP style. Corrupt voter rolls, no ID, no proof of citizenship, anonymous ballot harvesting, no witnesses, voting by proxy is allowed (sign ballot, turn over to third party to complete).

NBC News’ Kristen Welker: “You’re talking about 140 million barrels of Iranian oil, and that’s just a little bit more than what the world uses in one day. How much can that really change prices here at home —”
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: “Again, Kristen, terrible framing, terrible framing. No, no, no — prices here at home?”
“Let me explain. 140 million barrels — about 20 million barrels a day — comes out of the Gulf. About five million has been the uh, repurposed by the Saudis, by the UAE. So, we’re at a 15 deficit. About 1.5 is Iranian oil that comes out. So, we are at between a 10 and 14 million deficit on a daily basis.”
“If you think about 140 million barrels, that’s between 10 days and two weeks of supply. And one of the reasons, one of the reasons that prices in the U.S. of West Texas crude are below $100 — and we have not seen this massive spike as we did during the beginning of Russia/Ukraine — is because we are well supplied in the market, whether it is the Russian oil, whether it is the Iranian oil, or it is the largest the SPR release in history done by a coalition of 32 countries, 400 million barrels.”

Either dishonest or ignorant: Ukraine has reduced Russian diesel exports roughly 90% from ~1 million barrels/day to ~100k, depending on source data; anyone who thinks that kind of supply shock won't affect prices doesn't understand econ 101...

"I hate to burst the Wright brothers' bubble today, but that spectacular 'flight' we witnessed in Kitty Hawk needs a little context. It only flew 12 seconds and only traveled 120 feet. In short, it's a gimmick" SamCKx 1903
I hate to be the one to burst the Tesla bubble today, but the spectacular “flight” we witnessed at the Roadster reveal needs a little context. The car is carrying around 250kg of compressed air, plus the weight of the tanks, valves and thrusters needed to contain and release it.
Based on the published figures, that gives it roughly 1.5–2 seconds of maximum thrust before the system needs to be refilled.
In short, it's a gimmick.
