Thread:1/n There was a time when there was no backlog in the early 2000s. You know why? Because the number of green cards and H1Bs allotted per year were in sync.
Then came two acts in 1998 and 2000 which increased the cap from 65k to 195k, to make America 'competitive'. #NoS386

If there's one thing we've learned during the lockdown, where the stock market soared even as economic activity (making and buying stuff) cratered, it's that the finance economy is totally decoupled from the real economy.

The corporate media lies to you constantly because they only care about pleasing the political ideology and flattering the preconceptions of their audience. Subtsack & similar platforms allow truth to be aired, which is why they hate it.

It turns out that normal Americans care more about their families than their jobs, and want a family policy that doesn't shunt their kids into crap daycare so they can enjoy more "freedom" in the paid labor force.

Voting for Biden because you don’t like Trump is like eating dog poop because you don’t like broccoli.

True. Also, Biden spent the last 9 months telling everyone he had a plan. Apparently that was a lie like “I won’t ban fracking”
Biden's team keeps saying Trump left them literally no plan on Covid -- but they inherited a vaccination program already meeting their target, kept some of the same people and are pledging much of the same stuff. It's complicated.

It is completely false to say the concerns over the election "has been looked at in every single state." In fact, not a single state will publish the ballots (as promised by @GaSecofState) & not a single state will allow party-observers to independently confirm signature matches.
Pressed repeatedly by @GStephanopoulos, Sen. Rand Paul won’t say the 2020 election wasn’t stolen, calls for investigation of fraud, but doesn’t provide evidence.

Modi has devastated India in many ways, yet he remains incredibly popular because he is a genocidal Hindu supremacist and is loved for it.
Modi is not a fringe lunatic but rather the truest representation of the Indian society and polity.
We are in the 37th month of sequential decline in GDP growth. This is our fourth year of decline. Indians were poorer in 2018 than they were in 2013, and that was before this 37 month decline began. This is Govt data. Modi era has set us back 10 years. indiatoday.in/mood-of-the-na…
