He reminded me of my Dad in the last few years of his life. A good and intelligent man, but someone who time and age had slowed down, who could no way have assumed the hardest job in the world. It made me sad. Someone needs to craft a dignified way for him to step down.

Downballot effects of a Biden loss are clear for Democrats. The House would likely be gone. GOP has opened up an edge on the generic ballot. If Biden loses, the chance of Democrats holding the Senate is close to zero because of the map and WV being an easy GOP pickup.

I am really beginning to hate Biden. He is setting us up for a landslide defeat, endangering Democracy. And the Dems in leadership positions, if they can’t come out of the shadows to state the obvious, are as bad as the GOP.
