Thank you to everyone who has streamed “DONTLETMEIN” it really means the world to us. We tried harder than ever before to write a song that would be our most genuine, exciting, energetic, emotional, memorable, and hard hitting track yet. It wasn’t easy, but we are beyond proud.
That you can find community in the sound of the guitars, the thud of the drums in your gut, the thickness of the air in the pit, the squeaking of shoes on the venue floor, the late nights belting in your car with your friends. That at the end of the day, this matters. You matter
Being an artist is a constant of those highs and lows. You hope that when you dig deep and express feelings, thoughts, ideas, that other people will connect with them and that somehow, that connection will bring you all closer together.
That it isn’t just out there but it can stand on its own 2 feet, spread its wings and soar. That people genuinely connect with it. That they hold it close and cherish it the way you do. Most of all, you hope you can stay proud of what you’ve done and look forward playing it live
This process for many of us can contribute to an endless cycle of chasing the high of release day and working through the lows of it never being enough. To you, the song is already months or years old. To the world, it’s a newborn. You hope like hell that people give it a chance
Within a week, a lot of your current and potential new fans have consumed it and maybe already moved on with their lives. Those days, weeks, and months have been condensed to a few minutes streaming over the internet in an endless sea of content.
