People with exceptional intelligence and a commitment to truth, in today’s society, will get labelled as evil by those that are either not exceptionally intelligent or not committed to truth
Okay. I’ll take the bait.
I went to work for Peter in 2013 with opposite politics.
He sat me down right at the beginning.
PETER: “I don’t want the (Thiel) Foundation to do good that the market can do. That is the job of the market. Likewise, I don’t want to do the good work that is seen as good. That work can be done by people richer, weaker and more needy of approval than we are. I want us to do only the work that is *deeply* good but somehow confused for being evil, because that is the work of the courageous and the strong. We strive to be both and that is where a small foundation can make the greatest positive difference. Go look for such good and let’s do that. But remember. Good has TWO different antonyms. What is “bad work”? It could be seen as shoddy work. Or it could be seen as evil work. And we can’t do shoddy work. Why? Because evil that isn’t competent never gets to be evil. It’s just pathetic. So we have to be exceptionally competent at the good work which we do to make sure it is always confused for evil.”
I thought it totally logical. So that’s the argument. And that’s classic Peter.
This is an old idea of his. And now you know.
New paradigm indeed
Higher rates mean higher inflation
Everything is coded to go up at this point
So who gets hurt the most by higher rates?
The little guy
The presumption that the Fed raising short-term rates reduces inflation is predicated on the belief that higher rates reduce demand and investment.
But what if higher rates don’t reduce demand and investment because the demand for intelligence and energy is unaffected by higher rates because winning the race for super intelligence has a near infinite ROI and the demand for compute will remain incalculable.
Why won’t higher rates at this unique moment in history therefore lead to more inflation as interest costs are embedded in everything?
And the problem is compounded as the more the Fed raises rates, the more inflation we will have and the more the Fed will need to raise rates further and so on.
But what if the old models don’t apply to the current paradigm and the Fed is wrong?
I think the Fed might have just made a mistake. Am I right or am I wrong?
After reading this I was able to connect the dots on some recent activity on Ride
I couldn’t understand why 2 separate people showed conviction in solana:Zy4fyU2SmzUvZWTXaJNu84eHBenXJLwERBGpUMppump at the same time
Now I’m convinced we need to add a field for people to share their thesis; it won’t change the call structure but it will help give others insight into their actions
You’ve mentioned this before @AdrianBrz_
Credible is seeking approval to deploy $500K from the treasury to be used as settlement capital for 3 months, with the principal returned to the DAO at term end.
@crediblefin pays merchants before incoming collections have fully cleared. So as payment volume grows, it needs more capital to bridge that timing gap.
Credible reports monthly volume rising from $32M to $183.1M over twelve months, while interest payments on externally borrowed capital has reached approximately $137K per month. Replacing part of that borrowing with its own capital reduces financing costs and supports continued same day settlement.
For solana:CREDBHvVqREBCAxMihzr8D1nepHMr2gmQoZWpmgGmeta holders, the benefit is better economics in the underlying business. More of the money generated by the business can remain within Credible rather than going to external lenders.
The proposal mentions terms for usage, tracking, and upcoming monthly reporting. However some useful clarifications would be:
1. Expected interest savings in the 3 month period from the $500K loan
2. A broader revenue or profit-remittance policy to establish how improved business performance reaches the treasury over time
The proposal provides good commercial rational, but fuller financial disclosures would make the trade off easier to evaluate. Let's see what the market has to say.
Awesome to see new ideas still emerging in DAOs on Solana

Innovation in token design powered by @JupiterExchange @LaunchOnSF @ridemarkets
Day 5 ✅
=> 50,000+ $JUP distributed to $BURN holders.
=> I’n going to set up a fund on @ridemarkets that people can use to trade.
How will it work?
You'll need at least 100k $BURN to access the fund. You'll be able to borrow up to $200 from it to open a trade.
If your trade is successful, you get your $BURN back plus 65% of the trade profit.
The rest goes back into the fund => all profits from successful positions will be used for buybacks, and the tokens bought back will be burned.
If your trade isn't successful, your $BURN will be burned automatically.
Either way, the $BURN supply goes down.
That's my proposal.
=> Sent a bunch of DMs today and made some great connections who will help take $BURN to the next level.
=> We're working on holder incentives with a gamified experience on burnjup.com/
=> Submitted the final step for CoinGecko.
