- Genuinely my favorite Gears Game in the series, I'm never going back to the older games sadly because it won't be the same. Easy 9/10

Resident Evil Fans have to be the most miserable people ever, I've played all of them 1-9 remakes and og plus some of the spin offs and I've encountered 3 bad games and ONE mid one, y'all bitching about literally nothing. The majority of your series never drops below 7/10.
No backtracking now, I already see the complaints, this is the bed you all made. Lie in it. I was happy with Infinite's direction if not for the monetization, you all complained. This is the consequence of your actions if you don't like it.
Getting rid of umbrella was the biggest mistake Resident Evil ever made, and slightly behind it is assuming their storytelling style worked in every genre. It doesn't.
Also I was dead wrong about Resident Evil games all having bad endings. Most do but I'ma be so fr RE8 ending had me crying
It was so peak, so beautiful, so well made. Ethan Winters truly deserves more love.
Resident Evil movie is such a good adaptation, it has the exact same problem as every RE game I've played
9/10 beginning, 10/10 middle, 5/10 ending
Why is it that Resident Evil sucks at endings but balls so hard for everything else every time

Also people bitching it didn't have enough umbrella seem to forget that Umbrella Corporation didn't directly appear in anything past RE3 until RE7 and even then it was a random passing moment at the end.

This game could've been really cool if they leaned into a more Covert style than the clear Army of Two style it was going for. After a certain point it became-
Just too much loud shooting and bullet sponge enemies to believe that this wasn't even more suspicious than the evidence they were destroying.
A stealth team being dropped into RC to erase evidence is sick but this game completely failed to capture it despite how much fun I had
