It’s hard to say we reached our ceiling when we’re missing so many starters lol. I do agree De Brienne should’ve been here tho. I actually like Sigur at RB especially since we lack depth there. 100% we need to stop calling up 6 strikers, and we can’t be playing 4 at once…

Agree 💯. Eustaquio wasn't good either until his injury. J. David was awful. Sigur has to play in midfield. De Brienne should have been called up. Stop calling up 6 strikers every window! Has Marsch reached his ceiling with this team?!

There’s definitely a few names I would’ve liked to see. De Brienne at the top of that list.

That's for me this international window was a big missed opportunity. Yes, some of the prospects were injured, but we need to win trophies so we won't call up young promising talents , doesn't wash with me. Not calling De Brienne is criminal to me.

Feels like this squad is lighter at fullback than CB even without Alfie Jones. I’d be looking at Matteo de Brienne first

A bit puzzled by this CanMNT roster, as it’s experimental but could argue there are a lot of notable “bubble” names not in the mix 🇨🇦 • Bryan Ouanda (hurt) • Simon Colyn • Aribim Pepple • Jamie Knight-Lebel • Grégoire Świderski • Matteo de Brienne • Theo Corbeanu

With Jones going down I wonder if you bring in De Brienne for LB and shift Priso to CB.

And look, I get bringing in Piette and Hoilet for a single testimonial match. But this is potentially a 4 game window. Colyn, Justin Smith, Ben Laturnus, De Brienne, etc. could have gained valuable experience in this camp. #CanMNT

Simon Colyn not being called up this window is something... Started all 8 matches in his first season of first division football (Danish Superliga), averaging a 7.58 player rating (yes I get the drawbacks of these ratings, but still...), & has 3 goals and an assist. #CanMNT

De Brienne should’ve been called up, while Ouanda is likely still recovering at Prague. Hoilett’s only explanation is that he wants to retire from the national team on his own terms and wants a send off match.

Piette and Hoilett sends off so I don’t really mind that but really would have liked more new guys to be called up like Ouanda Colyn de Brienne and Laturnus
