Let’s not forget in 2019 @Ripple bought a 9% stake of MoneyGram and the SEC was well aware that Ripple was distributing XRP to MGI which in return was selling that XRP in the secondary market to you and me. SEC did nothing. But SEC now claims that that same XRP is a security.🤦‍♂️

Hinman testified that he told them XRP is security at a meeting in 2020 only a few months before the lawsuit was filed. I guess the SEC could argue they had notice for about three months.
