This is one faba bean with damage in middle of the plant. I know where they will end up once pods start filling.

Has anyone seen damage like this in faba beans? First 4 photos are one plant - stem split revealing tissue. Been suggested it’s a K deficiency. Rapid plant growth in high N conditions splitting the roots and stems as K is pushed up the stem, diluting it lower down the plant.

Had few people ask how my Grange LDL (Low Disturbance Loosener - not a ripper) went last harvest. More than happy with the response. 1.5t/ha in wheat and 0.7t/ha in canola. Comparisons in parts of same paddock with 3 EM zones. @fordham_ag @grange_mac

Apparently there is more 💰 to be made when you are serving 🍻 than drinking 🍺. Here’s your chance. Country pub 9km out Shepparton, Vic with backpackers hostel out the back. Possibilities are endless.

Looking at fitting 2” #banjoflowmeter on chemical mixer. Instructions say 20” straight pipe before and after meter. Anyone had experience using shorter distances? Can see reason for before to minimise any turbulence.

Didn’t bookmark fence line spraying tweets last year. Can anyone send me a link? Bromacil looks good option for early season control. Neighbour having some trouble with RG and trying to avoid him on 4 wheeler with Paraquat!

First time user of #overwatchherbicide 2024. Looks the goods but mixed results from what I hear/read. Farm flat, heavy duplex soils with near full 💧 profile. Am I looking down the barrel of prolonged bleaching and significant yield loss - canola or wheat?

Cockatoos on silo bags - out loading over two weeks. Thinking two gas guns set at different intervals so timing is irregular. Any other ideas rather than using covers, plus drums to hold them up like some are doing? #cockatoos #silobags

Perennial Q of water quality for spraying. About to change from S&D water to rain water for all spraying. Currently use AMS for glyphosate & grass herbicides, plus Li 700 if needed. Q is would I still use them? Thinking yes for herbicide uptake

The dodo migrated to Mauritius ~ 40 million years ago but was extinct ~65 years after the the Dutch arrived in 1598. Elon bought twitter in October 22 (est 2006) and Larry (the blue twitter bird) was extinct 10 months later. I think I the dodo got the better deal. #TwitterBird

Anyone worked out how to search for an item (eg. Tractor) across multiple groups you are a member of on FB Marketplace? #item #marketplace #multiplegroups

Stolen from a property just east of Narrandera. 40ft SDX Case disc seeder with Janke air kit coupled to a New Holland 230 air cart. Also stolen was a 9” x 30ft Brandt auger, firefighter pump and chemical batching plant. Contact police if seen.

Landed in Buenos Airies on 7/7/2014 - day of World Cup Final between Argentina and Germany. Found this party in a park - certainly know how to barrack but Germany won. That night, guys hanging out of cars, buses and running amok. Fair mess next day but saw Messi & guys next day.

Looking for a chaser bin driver for harvest at Shepparton, Vic. Hopefully will start by early December and will go for 4 weeks (or a bit more). Accomodation provided. Given the terrible conditions in much of NSW, it could possibly give someone some work. Could probably find more.

Where do you load if it’s too wet in the paddock or the yard? The local pub (photo is a bit grainy but that’s an old Carlton Draught sign). Pity that’s not a load of barley and the pub might be open. Cheers 🍻

WTB JD 8R tractor up to 270hp. Less than 5000 hrs, preferably 3000 hrs. 480R tyres. Based in Shepparton, VIC but distance for the right tractor isn’t a problem. It’s called a truck. DM for any enquiries.

Looking at a JD 7230R which I want to take to 3m. Thought it has 110mm axle but only 100mm. Anyone had experience/thoughts on taking to 3m. Previously had a 7520 I widened but a few tonnes lighter. Think I know the answer but if you don’t ask, you don’t know.

This has got me stumped. Never seen anything like this. Any ideas? Mutant barley? Not in the tropics, down south in the boom docks....

This might be a long shot but does anyone have any Prosaro or Aviator lying around in their shed looking for a home. DM if you do. Thanks
