Fact. Fans will return once a new owner/stadium comes online. Plenty of corp$ in Orange & LA Counties. Easy place to recruit FA's to. Just need to allocate more resources to Scouting & Player Development to establish a winning foundation.
The Angels are a "sleeping giant," says @Ken_Rosenthal.
"If they ever get a new owner, I imagine they'll be a very dynamic franchise in short order."
Yessir! Nothing like riding the Redbird #7 Train out to Willets Point.
Bobby Axelrod would've sent this guy packing.
David Stearns' job is safe, as he is going to "live out" the reminder of his five-year contract as president of baseball operations with the Mets, says Steve Cohen on The Show with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman
Stearns is in the middle of his third season with the organization
Cohen: “David is reflective and adaptable. We’ll figure out what changes need to be made, but it won’t be David.”
This should be the mantra for every Player Development Dept in MLB for their entire minor league system/players. The current country club approach to player development is not preparing players for the big leagues.
We need the 30 for 30 on this saga ASAP.
Seattle’s Garfield High School is bringing back a familiar face to lead its boys basketball program, former NBA All-Star and Garfield alum Brandon Roy, as head coach, nearly a year after he was fired amid an alleged recruitment scandal.
Seattle Public Schools Superintendent Ben Shuldiner said Roy has been cleared after an investigation through the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and that he believes Roy is the best person for the job.
The announcement came at a press conference with Seattle Public Schools district leaders, about nine months after Roy was let go from the same position amid an investigation of possible athletic rule violations.

Why would a MLB team hire a guy that is involved in baseball decisions that cannot hold a bat properly?
Driveline founder Kyle Boddy has left the Red Sox for other professional baseball jobs, per @TimBHealey.
They were not at the G-House v FQ Metro title game at SPU in 1993.
This family from Mercer Island say they’ve never seen anything like this in Seattle, beating Hawks, Sounders, Parades, or the ‘62 World’s Fair.

I clean my house once a week, too. Glad they spruced up the place for futbol fans. Meanwhile home values continue to tank. Downtown core vacancy rates soar. Fortune 500 companies doing the slow fade. Nice pic, tho. He would be surprised what he finds in the greenbelts below.
Mom & Dad threaded the needle perfectly on when to sell.
Seattle Now Officially Leads the Country with the Largest Decline in Housing Values Across Major Metro Cities in the US‼️📉
Seattle just recorded the largest home value decline of any major metro area in the United States, with prices falling 2.5% while housing inventory jumped nearly 40%. 🏠
After years of bidding wars and skyrocketing prices, buyers are seeing more options and less competition than they have in years.
Would you consider buying a home in Seattle right now⁉️👀 #DUBSEA
Game is at a real tipping point.
What has gotten out of control is that so much emphasis has been put on metrics, the players are no longer taught how to win. share.google/JCcsireujPOxtZr…

As Wild Waves Theme Park kicks off its 50th and final season, a proposal has been submitted for a more than 1 million-square-foot industrial warehouse facility to go up on the 66-acre theme park site.
Park owners said rising operating costs and years of financial losses since the pandemic forced the decision to close after this season.
However, plans for the property's future had been limited until now, which many people in Federal Way aren't thrilled about.

A few weeks ago the Giants beat the Dodgers 29-2… in the Arizona Complex League.
I wrote about what the hell happened and why it’s a symptom of something much bigger going wrong in the low-level minor leagues.
“It’s a total s*** show.”

Keep up the good work @MayorofSeattle.
A 34-year-old man remains in critical condition after what Seattle police describe as an unprovoked attack in downtown Seattle that left him with severe head and facial injuries.
Investigators say surveillance video captured the suspect walking past the victim before repeatedly striking him in the head with an object, possibly a hammer, more than a dozen times near Sixth Avenue and Madison Street, outside the Renaissance Hotel.
The victim, identified by family members as George Miller, has been on a ventilator in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center since the attack last week.
