This is going to happen a lot this time. Check your voter registration status often.
I'm a registered Democrat in Texas. After seeing several other posts, I checked my registration. I'm "suspended." It says I can still vote if I update my information (it's already correct) but this has never happened in my 20 years of voting in Texas. Check your registration.

I have a question I’d like to ask a whole bunch of elected officials in my own party right now. Why are you crying uncle? Why are you rolling over? Why are you sitting down and folding your arms when you should be standing up and fighting? Do you not understand what we are facing? Did you miss the memo on what’s at stake? When your kids are behind in a baseball or soccer game, do you tell them to pack it in? To look at the score and realize it can’t change, even though they alone have the power to change it? Do you tell them to quit? That the championship isn’t worth digging in and doing the work because it’s easier just to accept the loss and walk away? To accept the numbers on the board as the outcome before the game has even ended? Do you spend more time talking about how they’ll lose the game than you do firing them up to win? Maybe you do, but the rest of us don’t. We don’t have that kind of luxury. We’re too busy worrying that our daughters might be jailed for miscarrying, that our sons will be handed guns and rewarded for cruelty, and that every freedom we have ever known will be taken from us, forever. For us, quitting isn’t an option. We know there’s a lot more game left to play. And since we are the only ones with the power to determine the final score, we know that we have to keep going, that we have to push harder and play tougher. This is the battle of our lifetimes. We aren’t going to simply give up because we don’t Iike the score on the board right now. So, my question is — why are you?

Perhaps hard to catch amid Jo Koy’s sexist and generally humor-free monologue, but saying that the prosthetic nose Bradley Cooper wore playing Leonard Bernstein was actually a misplaced penis is about as classic a piece of antisemitism as you can get. #GoldenGlobes2024 #jokoy

Thank you for your advocacy ⁦⁦@Fiedler4Philly⁩ and ⁦@KendraPHL⁩! Just what we’ve been pressing the SDP about for so many months: transparency, real collaboration, & actual communication for all schools. It will take culture change to do it. inquirer.com/opinion/comment…

My friend's picture of the flooding on Chestnut St. accidentally included the perfect placement of a gondola in the mural. 😂 #philadelphia #flooding #schuylkill

Center City Philadelphia. This is not the river. It’s the train tracks. @weatherchannel

This is what incompetence looks like. Oh, and the Masterman basement is confirmed flooded as well—yup, the same basement that has uninspected areas of asbestos that parents have been asking about for months. @dalemezz @johanncalhoun @phillydesign @Avi_WA

Replying to @Avi_WA
This level of inspection is not adequate. They are not allowing access to concealed spaces like above ceilings, etc. That is where most of the damaged asbestos is. They are only allowing him to look and not do testing of dust, debris, air that could contain asbestos.

Masterman teachers have been told that if they are not in the building by 2 pm they will be coded F61, unauthorized leave. Parents are trying to set up a Go Fund Me to support teachers. @HelenGymAtLarge @newskag @dalemezz @_emilyrizzo_

Truth. @PHLschoolboard @FixMallory Masterman is just one example of egregious PSD dereliction of duty citywide. Today, they are spending their time trying to avoid, delay, and redefine rather than just move forward with a joint inspection to keep students & teachers safe.
