On a brighter note, been down the ground today to take some shirts and help set up the display to acknowledge the great achievements of our team of 1985/87, double promotion under Arthur Cox.
They are coming along on Saturday to take a bow for what they did for our club.
This is my era and my team of heroes, such great days at the Baseball Ground and every away game, up the football league we went 3-2-1 back to the top.
You just knew before every game it was going to be entertaining and we would win, every pub would be packed pre match.
They were the best of days so let’s give them a good cheer and show we still remember our legends and what they achieved.

All week the narrative has been about Anfield being an intimidating cauldron for Man City to play in
Utter nonsenses You could hear a pin drop in there
Even in a game like this, the Anfield myth lives on

My latest episode of The Walk is live now.
The village of Derwent was once made up of ten houses, a mill, a post office, two churches, a school, and a stately home called Derwent Hall.
Between 1935 and 1943 the residents were driven out, and the village was demolished and flooded by a brand new reservoir.
But now the waters have dropped, Derwent has come back from the dead.
