Behind every terabyte is someone using connectivity to get through their day; calling family, working, studying, or running a business. 📡 Our hotspots help carry mobile traffic over Wi-Fi, easing demand on cellular networks in the places people gather. For participating businesses, that infrastructure also creates an opportunity to earn from connectivity they already provide. That’s what 6.717 TB delivered in one day represents: everyday activity supported and local infrastructure put to work. Real usage. Real utility. Decentralized. stats.dnet3.com

Starlink’s latest move reinforces something we’re building around @dcentralizedllc : connectivity needs infrastructure closer to where people actually use it. @SpaceX announced $8 billion spectrum deal is another step toward expanding @Starlink Mobile, with plans to combine satellite connectivity and ground infrastructure. The deal remains subject to FCC approval. (reuters.com) That’s where I see the connection to our work. At Decentralized, we deploy access points in airports, university campuses, retail spaces, and other busy venues to support cellular connectivity through carrier offload. Eligible phones connect automatically through Passpoint, moving traffic onto local infrastructure and helping relieve pressure on cellular networks. Different technologies, but a shared direction: more ways to deliver connectivity where people need it. Our model also puts property owners in the equation. Hosting wireless infrastructure can improve the customer experience while creating an additional monthly revenue stream from eligible traffic. Watching investment flow into new wireless infrastructure strengthens my conviction in what we’re building with @helium The future of connectivity will be built across many layers. We’re building the layer inside the venues where people gather. Dnet3.com

The largest retailer-owned grocery co-op in the US just turned its store Wi-Fi into a revenue stream. Wakefern is a $20.7B business with 48 member companies and ~365 supermarkets across nine states. ShopRite, Price Rite, The Fresh Grocer, Fairway Market, Gourmet Garage. The first stores are now live on the Helium Network, with more to follow. Supermarkets are brutal for cell signal. Concrete, steel racking, rows of freezers. The traditional fix is a DAS, and the math rarely works for a grocery store. So Wakefern is using what it already owns. Shoppers’ phones hop onto store Wi-Fi automatically. No app, no sign-in. The stores earn as carrier traffic moves over. helium.com/blog/wakefern-gro…

Homecoming brings the energy. We’re bringing the connectivity. 🏫📶 @dcentralizedllc is equipping @Morehouse College ahead of #homecoming with outdoor wireless infrastructure that supports carrier offload helping ease cellular congestion and keep students, alumni, and visitors connected. At a time when so many schools have lost funding and resources, we’re using the @helium network and creating value: strengthening campus connectivity and opening the door to additional revenue through everyday data usage. Proud to build at Morehouse. Proud to show what DePIN can do for our HBCUs. 🚀

This is the way….
We’re turning WiFi into an asset for business owners, one deployment at a time. 📶💰 These pictures show what that work looks like: on-site, working with business owners, installing equipment, and putting connectivity to work. @dcentralizedllc we help businesses earn additional monthly revenue by supporting carrier data offload. Eligible mobile traffic moves through our deployed WiFi infrastructure, and the business shares in the revenue it generates. For customers, that means better indoor connectivity where cellular service can struggle. For owners, it means their space becomes part of the infrastructure, and part of the opportunity. From neighborhood restaurants and bars to airports and university campuses, we’re building this every day. Own a business or manage a venue? Let’s talk about putting your WiFi to work. 🌐 Dnet3.com #Decentralized #WiFi #DePIN #SmallBusiness #Connectivity

DePin is not a hype label. It’s a different kind of opportunity. Less abstract, more grounded. Yes, it asks for people skills and a bit of grassroots hustle, but that’s exactly where its moat is. Most folks won’t do the legwork, which means the ones who show up early and consistently build durable positions. This isn’t churn and burn yield. It’s own the rails. You get closer to real revenue, you learn how networks actually meet the world, and you build relationships that compound. It’s effortful, sure, but that effort is your advantage. If you like being early to something real, enjoy building, and want an edge that isn’t easily copied, that’s the appeal.

Businesses don’t just need better cellular coverage. They need connectivity they can depend on. Think about what happens inside a hotel, hospital, office, stadium, warehouse, apartment building, or retail location when cellular coverage gets weak. Customers can't connect.
Employees lose communication.
Payments and apps can become unreliable and when the primary network has an outage, the problem gets even bigger. DePIN changes the equation. 📡 Decentralized wireless infrastructure can bring additional cellular connectivity inside the places where traditional coverage struggles most, while creating another layer of connectivity that businesses can potentially rely on when existing systems experience disruption. Instead of asking: “How many more cell towers do we need?” Businesses can start asking: “What infrastructure can we add, activate, and monetize where connectivity is actually needed?” That’s the power of DePIN. 🏢 Better indoor coverage
📱 More connectivity capacity
🔄 Additional network resilience
🌐 Distributed physical infrastructure
💰 More utility from existing assets @dcentralizedllc #DePIN #Helium #Wireless #Cellular #Connectivity #Infrastructure #5G #Web3

Waimea Valley in Hawaii now has reliable mobile coverage, and without disturbing a single leaf within this designated conservation area. A local Helium deployer was able to convert existing hardware and seamlessly add coverage, rather than a traditional macro tower navigating bureaucracy and a protected ecosystem. Read more as Helium continues to expand its footprint and solve coverage gaps in some of the hardest to reach spaces. helium.com/blog/waimea-valle…

Celina, TX grew 25% in 1 year. You can’t build cell towers fast enough to keep up with that kind of growth. Celina turned its own city-wide Wi-Fi networks into carrier coverage on the Helium Network. 100 GB/day, automatic on residents’ phones. No towers necessary.

🗳️ Voting is LIVE for HIP-150: Mobile Deployer Prioritization This proposal is about aligning rewards to where coverage is most valued and making sure Hotspot deployers are rewarded in a way that scales with the Network. Three changes, one vote: 📍 High-value venues can get approved for a rewards multiplier 📈 The deployer reward floor jumps from 50% to 80%, temporarily for approximately 1-2 years 🤝 Helium is redirecting rewards it would normally earn to instead top up deployer data rewards, through mid-2027 (possibly longer).

.@SpaceX just spent $19.6B on 65 MHz of spectrum and said it will build its mobile network with small cells on rooftops instead of towers, saying explicitly, “you deploy that as you need it.” Sound familiar? The most valuable private company in the world looked at the macro tower model and...passed. Their plan? Distributed radios on buildings, deployed incrementally, close to where people actually use data. It’s an endorsement of decentralized networks by the biggest challenger to traditional telco. Do satellites solve the universal connectivity problem? Not entirely on their own. Satellites are are good at covering things like oceans, highways, rural dead zones, and disaster areas. But what physics will not let them do is deliver capacity indoors, where most mobile data is actually consumed. Satellite signals do not pass through buildings, and 65 MHz stretched across a continent cannot carry a city at rush hour. Indoor connectivity has to be built from the ground up. Radio by radio, building by building, by people who are already there. It is the hardest part of wireless to replicate and the one part satellites fall short. So to @SpaceX @Starlink @Gwynne_Shotwell, welcome to decentralized wireless infrastructure! You handle the sky and when your customers walk inside, the @helium Network is already there for a smooth handoff 🤝. Source: fierce-network.com/wireless/…
