Think Neave had a good 45 there. Not hiding in possession (unlike some), dropping deep to link the play with some nice little flicks. Outside of him, an utter mess.

Peixoto really needs to figure out what he wants us to do in the final third. This is what will keep us towards the top of the league and there’s enough talent there to take advantage of. Games like tonight we should be scoring 3-4.
The offsides are frustrating but Bolton have to get that step right every single time, we only need to get our timings right once. The chance will come.
Funny reading the mixed replies to this. To expand: we’ve been so bereft of a natural 1v1 winger that I completely understand why some would be encouraged by those 40 mins. I really didn’t like a lot of the decisions on the ball though, especially considering the game state.

Look at the chaos around him in so many of these clips, then look at the subtle touches he takes, or changes in body position within that chaos to give him an extra half a second to make the right decision. He’s not been at his best this season so far but this is a level above.
Incredible coincidence that Armstrong went from a centre forward to a 10 right when some of the fanbase are baying for blood. Just the most pitiful insight designed only to ramp up anger.
