🚨#BREAKING: A father in Amarillo, Texas says he had to MOVE WHERE HIS KIDS SLEEP because a police officer used the city's Flock cameras to STALK him 76 TIMES over a woman the officer wanted for himself...
...prosecutors only gave the cop a MISDEMEANOR and a $4,500 bond.
This is Amarillo, Texas, the officer's name is Christian Eder.
Eder had a thing for a female officer. That officer had once dated a local dad. So Eder went hunting.
From February to June, he ran that father's license plate through the city's FLOCK cameras 76 times. Every gas station. Every school pickup. Every daycare run.
Police confirm there was NO case at all, no assignment.
When the system asked him why, he typed "city planning." and dozens of times, just one word: "want."
The victim's words: "I'm a creature of habit. I pick my kids up from the same school, the same daycare. It hit me: this guy knows exactly which way I go."
The father said he knew something was wrong when he walked out to his car at 1 a.m. and saw a MARKED PATROL UNIT crawling through his parking lot behind him.
He texted Eder and asked him to stop and here's the reply, word for word:
"lol, tough guy. Whatever y'all got going on is between y'all. Keep it that way. Have fun, my dude." 😉
He says Eder used his department phone to pull up the female officer's LIVE body camera feed to track her and the county attorney told him the department said that wasn't unusual.
So this man did everything right. He went to Internal Affairs. The department investigated and to their credit, they fired Eder.
Then the system took over, and it protected the cop.
Prosecutors REFUSED to file felony stalking charges.
Instead: 78 counts of "tampering with a government record." A misdemeanor.
One $4,500 bond for all of it.
Think that's not enough? Here's the part that will make you sick.
Under Texas law, the "victim" of that charge is... the City of Amarillo. Not the father. Not his kids.
He was told he might not even qualify for victim services.
"How, all of a sudden, am I not the victim?"
He asked police for a description of Eder's personal vehicles so he could watch for him. They said no.
The stalker has every piece of his information, but the dad... he isn't allowed to know what car to look for.
"I've had to change where my kids sleep in my house. I've had to change everything."
The chief admitted to City Council that officers could run these cameras off-duty on their WORK PHONES, with no alerts for high-volume searches, and the department's audit never flagged 76 hits on one plate.
The only reason we know about this one is that the target found out.

A Nova Scotia woman had precancerous cells on her cervix.

Pap smear. Abnormal cells. Referral to a gynecologist so they could find out if it was cancer. The referral sat for nine months.
She finally gets an appointment. She shows up on time — 10 a.m., in her calendar. The office says it was at 9. Won’t see her. Won’t reschedule. Start over. New referral.
She leaves crying. Seven more months go by. They call about an appointment she was never told about. She can’t take it.

That is Canada’s “universal healthcare.”
Not free care. A government monopoly that loses your referral, punishes you for their scheduling error, and hands a possible cancer case a calendar date in another year.
Coverage on paper. Care on a waitlist. You pay the taxes either way. The state decides when you’re allowed to find out if you have cancer.
This is the model they want to import as Medicare for All.

Looks like Verizon has scammers in their company.
My wife just called Verizon (the number listed on their website) to get a new phone line, and the guy who answered that's supposed to transfer you to the correct department actually transferred her to some random lady who, when answered, just said "hi".
My wife say's "hi" back.
Random lady: "who is this?" (on a sales call, btw).
My wife: "who is this?" (since it sounded suspicious).
Random lady in broken English: "Uhh... oh, this is Tasha with your phone company... what do you need?" (she didn't specify which phone company).
My wife: "I'm calling to get a new line."
Random lady: "Have you been on any trips recently?"
My wife: ??? *hangs up*
Then my wife calls the same Verizon number again from their website, gets on the phone with a different person who saw the record of my wife calling but it doesn't show that she was transferred at all.
So it appears some scammer got a job at Verizon and instead of transferring customers to a different department, he transfers them to his scammer friend.
This is super sketchy. I bet a lot of folks have fallen for this scam, unfortunately. Verizon needs to vet their people better.
