RE: DHH "i wrote 150,000 lines of code in august using AI". I like how the AI people have reverted to using "lines of code" as their core metric of success. We've known this metric to be a useless metric of quality/success since the dawn of programming.
Claiming AI will replace all programmers/artists/whatevers is like claiming buses will replace all cars/bicycles/horses. It makes no sense. Sometimes, a bunch of people want to be shepherded somewhere, and a bus is great for that. Other times, they just want their own ride.
I'll never understand why so many people i meet online go to bed at 3 pm and eat breakfast at like 9 pm, etc. It makes no sense. Other countries are just weird, man. I even had one guy tell me it was 10 am at his house when it was clearly 4 pm. What a moron.

Played a little over an hour of The Regreening Playtest and this may be one of the most adorable cozy games. As someone who rages during cozy games, there has been very little to rage about so far. 10000/10 get in the Playtest if you can!

Bought this on a whim, and it's wayyy better than I expected. Such a fun and interesting rogue-lite with hybrid turn-based/real-time combat. Tons of progress, and the story is light, doesn't get in your way, but adds some flavor. 10/10

Pro tip: The "Like" button on YouTube has nothing to do with whether or not you liked the video, it's the equivalent of marking an email as "Read" so that you in 5 years doesn't have to watch it again.
Casey's OOP history lesson is one of the greatest lectures ever given in the form of a tech talk:

There's so much more than this, but Jon's recent talk gives a nice overview of some of the goals and neat tools that already exist in The Language.

Blue Prince is not perfect, but it's pretty damn good, and gets better the deeper you go. The Myst-like puzzles are often nonsensical, but some are great, and the roguelite stuff is pretty fun. Lots of interesting synergies/strats.
