4. @daz_winter - 29 appearances & 3 man of the match awards. The evergreen midfielder passed the 200 appearance mark in the season, having made his debut in 2006. When Daz was in the starting XI the side conceded nearly half a goal a game less and won 10% more of their matches.

So, as we've finished our games we can announce the @Sheffieldfc team of the season, decided on a mix of man of the match awards (sponsors and club), appearances and ratings. There can only be 11 players but the efforts of all 43 who have played this season is 100% appreciated.

The @Sheffieldfc man of the match today goes to @daz_winter. Have to pick out Ludlam and Chapman at the back too. Dunne up front worked amazingly hard and a very, very impressive 3rd debut from Cribley. No weak performers today though.

The @Sheffieldfc TEAM OF THE SEASON: 6. @daz_winter - joined a side at the bottom of the table, just over 12 years after his first debut, and has tasted defeat just twice in his 11 games. 4 man of the match awards and has added much needed steel and experience to the side.
