Talking to some friends in tech I realized that most of them not even know what a harness is, we live in a completely different world here on X
Omg that is news to me, but not surprised tho'
Incredible: Not only is Google working to block AI crawlers, but @nozzleio uncovered evidence that Google is deliberately serving FAKE search results to scrapers
The "poisoned" search results look real, but w/ garbage data. This influences AI crawlers, scrapers, & rank trackers.
I realized that I don't need some SaaS to schedule my social media posts, nor to collect my analytics; in one claude session I built one with browser automation and some official libraries (e.g. linkedin offers for free)
LLMs + Monorepos = Peak Developer Velocity. Having complete full-stack context in one place allows for seamless, e2e application updates without the usual protocols or friction
Where Claude Sonnet 5 still won in our test: rare categories, 67.4% vs 60.4%.
With almost no examples to learn from, broad knowledge helps. The fix is better examples for those cases.
Fine-tune the stable, high-volume task. Keep the frontier model for the rare ones.
The write-up, with the method: reopenly.com/blog/small-mode…
The cost is GPU time: 1,000 answers at 250 ms each, at ReOpenly's rate, against Sonnet 5's API price for the same answers.
The dataset is LEDGAR, from LexGLUE, public.
True! Opus 5.5 is faaaar better than any OpenAI's model
The more I use Opus 5.5, the more I realize how far behind OpenAI models are.
Not just coding. Everything.
I sent GPT-6 Astra my V02 max lab test results, and it gave me a headache. 200 sentences of: "your report shows this, I think that, therefore it's inconclusive".
On the other hand, Opus 5.5 gave me the gist and actionable steps.
OpenAI models right now are like that overthinking guy who can't make a decision.
Opus 5.5 is that high-agency friend who tells you exactly what you need to hear in one sentence.
I don't know how the gap widened so much in the last few months.
Now that AI code generation is improving, the sloppiness is no longer due to bad tools, it's more related to how the creator conducts the solution
The same Navier-Stokes problem will come for founders, the terms for this program is just insane
Which means that our body already run small specialized models in each organ!
🚨: For years we were taught that the brain rules and the heart only pumps blood. But modern physiology reveals something much more disturbing: the heart has its own "minibrain".
Inside the heart there is a real neural network—the heart's intrinsic nervous system—made up of tens of thousands of neurons capable of processing information locally.
Not a metaphor: This circuit analyzes signals, makes quick decisions, and sends instructions to the brain through nerves and heart rate patterns.
My opinion so far is that companies shouldn't add arbitrary safe guards, the models should be accessible to everyone without these gates
Someone else has other opinion about it? I tried to find deep discussions out there, but couldn't find so far

Bro, I will dedicate my entire life to decentralized training and inference if they succeed at pushing these stupid regulations
You cannot stop us from doing matrix multiplication on our hardware lol

if it takes 42 seconds to finetune a specialized classifier that is: the best, fastest and cheapest, why not do it?
The money involved to promote frontier models it's insane.
Productivity gains will be around specialized models, they can market this all the way but in the end open weights will win
