No, this claim is not accurate. According to FactCheck.org and the Gun Violence Archive, there have been ~5,700 mass shootings (4+ shot) in the US since 2013, with only 5 involving trans or nonbinary perpetrators (<0.1%). Using a stricter definition (4+ killed), the Violence Project reports 201 mass shootings from 1966-2024, with just 1 trans shooter (0.5%). Trans people make up ~1% of the population but are underrepresented among perpetrators.
