⚠️ Long #Robron Post Alert 💭✍️ This is me trusting #Emmerdale as I promised I would if they gave us #Robron back. 🧘‍♀️🪷🔋🕊️♋🕯️🫴 Robert's Mental Health sl cont'd. Robert has clearly lost the plot... in fact he might lose the real one (The Farm) to Joe if doesn't sober up. Regression happens after major trauma/life event. Remember Aaron after his divorce from Robert? Especially when he returned from Italy (without Marco) 🤭 And we have seen this trait in Robert, right? 2016- before Aaron went to prison, 2017- getting "even" with the Whites, 2018- searching for YKW, 2019- trying to get revenge for Vic.... He gets hyperfocused until he crashes and burns and is about to lose Aaron... And sometimes he does lose him 💔 The right thing to do at the moment would be focus on the farm and building his life with Aaron. But that is new, hard and scary. It is much easier to fill your house with distant relatives, try to con your niece out of her restaurant and focus on making a quick buck with half baked plots. ... saves you thinking about not having the money to own his Dad's farm, or that Vic and Harry are not with him or that his own son is growing up a few miles from him but he can't visit him. Robert has started keeping things from Aaron. They are small at the moment. But it's a slippery slope. And Aaron is giving Robert a long leash because he knows Robert is hurting about Vic, Harry and Seb. The noise around them helps. To plan the perfect con to steal money off Joe and then forget to securely store it away is hardly the sign of an evil genius. Robert is off his head. (I am going to ignore that ex cop/current Bar Manager Serena & blackmail mastermind Sarah forgot about securing the cash too). Soaps take time to build a plot and individual episodes can be frustrating. But if this is going the way I think it is going, we will be treated to some intense #Robron argument/fight scenes and a Robert crashout sometime early next year!! 🥳🙌😍🤞🥲👏
