The Reform ITV documentary was revealing but ultimately, underwhelming. I'm genuinely surprised that they dropped all the clips through the week and had nothing more to add in the full documentary. Sure, it's shocking to hear the vile words that these cretins espouse, but ... we kinda knew it all already. No big reveal, no smoking gun. It's business as usual today for Reform UK — they know they're riddled with racists, and we know that they're riddled with racists. The dial hasn't moved — we've all known this all along. Obviously, some of the councillors should be arrested for hate speech and incitement and the language used about women is repulsive … but, Reform has an easy out again. It's just a 'handful' of bad apples. The only slightly high-profile politician that could be in serious trouble is George Madgwick with his ties to the neo-Nazi group in Portsmouth, but that's it. And again, we already knew this info. To the ITV Producers ... you gave us too much, too soon. Almost every name was already in the public domain and, aside from publishing the vile comments without censoring them, you kept nothing back for the big day. I wrote last week, after the first clips were aired that, in order to seriously move the dial, they'd need footage of Farage hoofing puppies off the top of the Shard. We're not there this morning.
