Very surreal experience to be browsing the 'Today' tab in the App Store today and seeing my app 🐂 Bullpen listed alongside the likes of Monument Valley, Blackbox and Threes! 🤯😍
I just released a side project I've been chipping away at.
It's a little puzzle game for iOS, called Bullpen 🐂
It's free, and has no ads.
Inspired by LinkedIn's Queens game and Star Battle puzzles.
It's weirdly addictive. Take it for a spin.

I made a new experiment of an advanced prototype using variables in @figma...
A Pixel Art Flip book. ✍️📖
Using over 40 variables:
- Draw in 16 different colours in a 16 x 16 grid 🎨
- Add up to 16 unique frames
- Auto play between them ⏯️
- Adjust speed playback ⌛️

Jokes aside, this is probably the first and only 3D engine built in Figma. It uses mathematical transformations to project 3D coordinates on a 2D plane (your screen)

This Tuesday, we decided to have some fun. Inspired by @DavidWilliames's amazing Flappy Bird prototype, our CTO Ethan (@sherbondy) built a usability testing project template in Betafi to help people play the game immersively in a video call.

I present a fully working version of Flappy Bird!! 🔥
Featuring:
- Scoring + highscores
- Pseudo-randomised pipe placement
- Physics based movement
- Uses 46 variables

To move the position of the bird, I mapped the bottom padding of an Auto Layout frame to the 'yPosition' variable.
