In my P7 at Kasubi C/U, a few of us were trained in weaving the reeds that formed the fence of the Masiro then. In turn we trained others in the same art and our class replaced a section of the fence. The day the tombs burnt, I dashed to the tombs with my brother and cousins 1/2

After disabling the man!!
Andrew Wilson and the Afande who led in the arrest of Kizza Besigye has today accepted that the two guns that were found in Kizza Besigye's hotel were actually given to him from Mbuya Police Station to go and place them in his hotel to be used as evidence to what he's facing today. He then went on to accept that even though it was important to make further investigation, none went to Switzerland to make anything like an investigation at a crime scene.

Just avoid Russia for now regardless of what you think is taking you there. Simple.
📽️ Two Ugandan women, Ankunda and Miriam Musisi, have recounted their last conversations with their husbands, who travelled to Russia in search of work but reportedly ended up in military deployments. Ankunda says her husband stopped communicating after informing her that he had been deployed to a dangerous location, while Miriam says her husband, who left Uganda on December 3, 2025, initially believed he was going to train as an army truck driver. Both women say promised payments never reached them and are now seeking answers about their husbands' whereabouts and fate, amid reports that Ugandans recruited to fight in Ukraine have died. #NewsInBytes #VisionUpdates

Hahaha, this is the Ugandan way! Sell an idea and underdeliver! Someone got paid, and they settled for an obscure team in Germany. We can all tell what transpired without any investigation.

Private Elwelu had been hiding behind Christian fundamentalism to disguise his plans for a rebellion against the state. Now he is on the run, and Christ won’t protect him from his plots to violently destabilize Uganda

Go to Russia (for whatever reason) at your own peril. It's a one-way journey.
If any of your family members or friends went to Russia as a military operative, kindly check on the below names and confirm he is part of the deceased or those who are missing. @UgandaMFA

I always wondered why this was allowed to go on and become a culture for so long. Majority of Kampala plots fall into this illegal category with most under Buganda land and some on private mailo land! No one ever talked about it. Onawulira.

Ugandans, who have always accused the @GovUganda of cooking up epidemics to get funding are now accusing the same government of hiding the numbers (no reason for this is given). We always find ways of keeping and eating our cake at the same time

Your internal drive to succeeded should be far greater than motivation driven by other people's success. Your paths are not the same, so not set yourself up!

We are impossible! When would someone who settled themselves on land which isn't theirs be compensated? Nedda nedda.
“@RailwaysUganda promised to compensate us before eviction in 2022,” says a Kyengera resident as the corporation begins a nationwide eviction exercise targeting encroachers on railway land. #MorningAtNTV

Sadly, most @NIRA_Ug offices are the same!
Lwengo District Chairperson Abasi Kizito has abruptly closed and padlocked the local @NIRA_Ug offices following widespread complaints from residents. Locals allege that staff have been demanding bribes to issue National IDs and withholding cards from those who refuse to pay. Kizito stated he had repeatedly summoned the district's NIRA officer to address the complaints, but received no response. He is now calling on NIRA’s Executive Director to appoint new leadership that will prioritize citizen concerns. #MonitorUpdates 📹 Gertrude Mutyaba

Does it hurt seeing people lose, yes. Is it right to do illegal stuff, no. All agencies should do their job to avoid a repeat of such (trade order as well) in future.

Hahahaha how does this work in politics?
UPDATE: Justice George Okello has urged reconciliation in an election petition filed by Nasif Najja challenging Ian Kyeyune’s victory as Wakiso District chairperson, suggesting the two consider an arrangement under which Kyeyune serves this term and Najja gets a chance in the next. The judge stressed that political differences should not divide people. #MonitorUpdates 📹: Noeline Nabukenya

It is interesting how many people genuinely believe that charcoal is cheaper than gas/electricity! Unbelievable! Awareness creation is a must. People should be helped by govt with the cost comparisons. Charcoal is the 3rd most expensive cooking energy source. Use gas/electricity!
. @mkituuma "We discourage motorists returning to Kampala from carrying charcoal in their vehicles, including even a single bag on a pickup. Members of the public should not assume that carrying a small quantity places them outside the scope of enforcement upf.go.ug/operations-against…

Beneficiaries are receiving less than they should thanks to the politicians and technocrats above them! I fully support this.
