‘What’s a little revolution without rape?’
French left-wing activist Bettina Zourli who describes herself as a journalist, feminist, and pro Palestine activist tells a woman who was threatened with rape while holding her baby during last night’s riots that her experience was “collateral damage” in the revolution. A "professor" of "Gender Sociology". Throw her to the wolves and she can find out first hand. She's perfectly happy to call others trauma acceptable collateral but I suspect if she lived the experience she would be quiet. Useful idiots are a real thing. Very on brand behavior for those fucking lunatics. Of course she's pro-all those things, and of course she looks like that. The woman who complains about lawless violence says she's in favor of the Revolution. "I never thought the Islamo-Leftist leopards would eat my face!" Any means is justified for the Revolution that will bring about Paradise. Except there won't be Paradise.

The anti-Muslim hostility definition is designed to silence criticism of Islam, its history and its practices. It is a direct assault on our fundamental right to free speech. Baroness Gohir, a member of the House of Lords and of the Working Group tasked with drafting the definition, has claimed that it is “Islamophobic” to point out that most rape-gang perpetrators were Muslim men. This is despite Baroness Casey’s report finding a disproportionate number of perpetrators of child sexual exploitation were men of Pakistani heritage. Earlier this year, the Free Speech Union revealed that all five members of the Working Group, appointed by Angela Rayner, had troubling links to Islamist organisations. Rayner’s department then claimed it had deleted all responses to the Working Group’s consultation, apparently breaching the Government’s own data policy. This only fuelled speculation that Islamist extremists may have influenced the drafting of what amounts to a de facto Islamic blasphemy law. After an investigation, the department claimed that the responses were still held on its data system — but refused to disclose them. It makes no sense. What is Angela Rayner hiding? Watch @Katie_Lam_MP’s video 👇
Angela Rayner's "Islamophobia definition" is designed to shut down free speech. It'll make it far harder to tell the truth about extremism and the grooming gangs. But she still won't tell us who helped her to write it. What is she trying to hide?

A man jailed for immigration deception after a judge condemned his “deliberate, extended manipulation” of the system is now the BBC’s principal data scientist for Responsible AI, helping shape how the corporation uses AI and how news is represented through it. Hicham Yezza (picture here with Moazzam Begg, the former Guantánamo Bay detainee) was sentenced to nine months in prison in 2009 after falsely claiming he had permission to remain in Britain. He had overstayed his visa by more than five years. He later successfully appealed against deportation and is now a British citizen. Before joining the BBC, Yezza also described Hamas rocket attacks as “resistance”, accused Israel of ethnic cleansing and called it an apartheid regime built on stolen land. He founded the pro-Palestinian Ceasefire magazine and later joined BBC Monitoring in 2021, where The Telegraph says he produced reports concerning Gaza. His current BBC role involves guiding responsible AI policy and developing benchmarks for how AI assistants represent public-service news. There is an extraordinary contrast here. When the Asserson Report used AI alongside data scientists and other researchers to analyse millions of words of BBC Israel-Hamas coverage, the corporation responded: “We have serious questions about the methodology of this report, particularly its heavy reliance on AI to analyse impartiality.” Yet the BBC now entrusts a senior role in determining how AI should approach and represent news to someone who had publicly expressed such strongly anti-Israel views before joining it. The BBC says Yezza’s controversial statements and immigration case pre-date his employment, that he has not breached its social-media rules while working there, and that he stopped working for Ceasefire when he joined. So that's all OK then! An extraordinary background — and an extraordinary contrast in the BBC’s attitude towards AI scrutiny of news.

Andy Burnham says that, after becoming Prime Minister, he asked officials whether Russia interfered in the 2016 EU referendum. He claims they told him “yes” — and that Russia did so by spreading mis- and disinformation on social media. But Mr Burnham is not the first politician to make this claim. In 2017, then Prime Minister Theresa May said Russian misinformation was distorting Britain’s democratic process and had to be tackled. So what is the evidence? This morning, one of Mr Burnham’s junior Foreign Office ministers pushed back, saying there is no evidence that Russian efforts to sway the referendum succeeded. In his briefing for the FSU, Misinformation about Misinformation, David Rose examines how politicians have repeatedly exaggerated the threat of misinformation — and used it to justify greater internet censorship. A study by the Oxford Internet Institute examined nearly six million social media posts about the referendum. It found that only a minuscule proportion could be traced to Russia. The study described the impact as “tiny”. Watch FSU Policy and Research Director @DavidRoseUK discuss the briefing, and read it below 👇

ONE GIRL WAS THROWN FROM A MOVING CAR. ANOTHER WAS BURNED. SIX RETURNED WITH SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES. FOUR BECAME PREGNANT. Some were just 13 years old. These were children in the care of Birmingham City Council. Girls who should have been protected by the very authorities responsible for their safety. In 1991, Dr Jill Jesson exposed what was happening to them. She identified links to Asian private-hire drivers and subsequently revealed that she had been ordered to remove the ethnicity of the men from her findings. Copies of her report were ordered destroyed. Birmingham councillors later voted against an inquiry. Years later, the council investigated itself and declared there had been no cover-up. NOW LOOK AT THE POLITICIANS REPRESENTING BIRMINGHAM. Jess Phillips, MP for Birmingham Yardley, became the Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls. When demands for a government-led grooming gangs inquiry were made, she rejected Oldham's request and supported powerless locally led investigations instead. Are we to believe she did not know what was happening in her own backyard? And then there is Shabana Mahmood. Mahmood has represented Birmingham Ladywood since 2010. Her own website proudly documents years of campaigning for Palestine. But where is the equivalent record of her campaigning for the girls sexually exploited in her own city? Where was her campaign to uncover what happened to the Jill Jesson Report? Mahmood is now the Home Secretary, responsible for the national statutory grooming gangs inquiry. A FOR BIRMINGHAM TODAY 98 live child sexual exploitation investigations. Six suspected grooming gangs roaming the streets. Two private-hire drivers stripped of their licences following police intelligence about potential sexual offences against children. And the ethnicity of the men involved is still hidden. My latest article follows the evidence through successive Birmingham administrations. I identify the politicians, chief executives and senior officials who held power when the decisions were made, and set out who Baroness Longfield must now call to account. Read it here and get ready for my live transmission where I line by line analyse the Jesson Report. Raja Miah MBE redwallandtherabble.co.uk/fo… _________ Unfortunately, we are reaching the end of the road where I can continue working this way. The paid subscriptions have stalled. Worse, tens of thousands of people are now reading these articles without even joining the free mailing list. The audience is growing, but the number of people actually standing behind the work is not growing with it. This is becoming impossible to sustain. You know what we are up against. The mainstream media will not touch my work. Institutions I investigate do not volunteer their records. Politicians do not suddenly decide to hold themselves to account. And yet, despite all of that, we forced the national inquiry. We did that because enough ordinary people refused to go away. But getting the inquiry was never the end of this campaign. In many ways it was only the beginning. Now we have to watch where it goes, what it investigates, which places it avoids, which witnesses it calls, which records it obtains and whether the same institutions that failed these children are allowed to control the story again. Nobody else is going to do that work for us. And I cannot do it indefinitely working on my own. That is why I keep talking about 50,000 committed subscribers. It is not a vanity number. I did not pluck it out of the air. With fifty thousand people with me means when we uncover something important, it does not depend on a newspaper editor, a television producer or an algorithm deciding whether you are allowed to see it. It gives us reach they cannot easily shut down. But there is another reason. I need to build a proper backroom operation around this work. At the moment I am investigating, researching, writing, publishing, producing the videos, running the newsletter, dealing with the technology and then starting again. It is unsustainable. I need people behind me who can take care of the technical and production work so that I can spend my time doing the thing I do best. That is why we have been pushing so hard for new paid subscribers. 🔴 SIGN UP HERE 👉 redwallandtherabble.co.uk If you read my work and want it to continue, I need your help. Sign up for free. Now we need the numbers to make sure they cannot control what happens next. Raja Miah MBE
