So, what do we think about Jonathan Pryce to play Tolkien and Jim Carter to play Lewis in some sort of Inklings biopic? I based the AI image on this older split photo of them. (@ThatChristinaG I bet you'd have some thoughts)

These stories are so personal to a lot of people so I'm fully expecting the strong reactions to fly on this one. But, I once toured C.S. Lewis' house and met Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett and it turned out he was a huge Narnia fan, so maybe there's more of a connection between Narnia and classic rock than we realize.
A Universe Begins. See how Narnia was created in Narnia: The Magician's Nephew, a film by Greta Gerwig - only in theaters February 12.

Hey agency friends! I’m in the middle of running a short survey on how independent agencies grow and win new business. It covers how you win new clients, who does the selling, how you price, whether growth has ever stalled, and what you’ve tried to fix it. It takes about 5 minutes and every question is multiple choice: tally.so/r/rjxyR2?src=twitte… What do you get back? The full findings before they’re published, broken out by agency size, so you can see how shops like yours compare and which fixes actually worked. Answers are confidential and only reported as group totals, and I’ll share the results back here when it closes.

If you’re not getting it yet- TPUSA told us the local chapter asked to host the event. Turns out that was a lie- TPUSA headquarters reached out to the UVU chapter to specifically tell them to ask to schedule the event specifically for that time and location. The subtext is that this aligns with it being a planned assassination. You would need to pick the time and place- and TPUSA has told us for a year now that the kids at UVU requested the event so how could it be a planned assassination. Turns out someone in TPUSA picked the time and place. And then they lied about it publicly for a year. Yeah. That’s extremely damning. Like asking your husband why his location was showing at his exe’s house last night and he says “oh I was out with the guys and Joey works with her and needed to swing by to pick something up. I didn’t even go inside obviously” And then you find your husband texting his ex planning to go over there yesterday for a drink. So A - why are you going over to your exe’s house and B- why are you lying about it. And C- the fact you lied about it for a year makes the answer to question A look pretty obvious.
🚨 BREAKING: TPUSA CORPORATE ITSELF INSTRUCTED THE UVU CHAPTER TO SET UP THE SEPTEMBER 10 EVENT @RealCandaceO This was exactly the opposite of the usual process where university clubs reach out to TPUSA corporate to request an event. Do they not realize how this looks? >TPUSA itself initiated the event, but did it through the UVU club president >TPUSA specifically requested the courtyard >UVU resisted, saying it was too risky >TPUSA insisted >TPUSA refused medical & emergency services >TPUSA insisted on handling the ticketing so that UVU couldn't adequately assess attendance size and event risk >TPUSA security never conducted a walk-through with UVUPD >TPUSA security missed the coordinating meeting with UVUPD chief long on the Hall of Flags the day of the event >TPUSA security and its protection detail failed to conduct a formal pre-event security briefing >TPUSA security called Ben Shapiro's security on the way to the hospital >TPUSA security lied about who decided to hold the event in the courtyard >TPUSA security refused to cooperate with the investigation WHO TOLD TPUSA FIELD REP MAYCEE CROFTS TO SET THE EVENT UP?

My latest personal win as a solopreneur is figuring out how to get AI to help me edit my podcast episodes. I had the recordings, the intro and outro voiceovers, and some theme music, but I'm not a video/audio editor. Now with Claude being able to talk to Descript, I was able to have it edit dozens of episodes seamlessly and in like an hour. I know there's issues with delegating our thinking to AI, but man, it's a real help with executing some of these time consuming projects.

I found out about the twin towers between home and work 25 years ago. I was in a gap year between high school and college and heard secondhand about a “small plane” that crashed into a building in New York. That all changed when I was watching from my bank teller summer job a little while later. The second plane hit and it became far more clear than this was orchestrated and not just a random accident. Still surreal watching the news that day.

Pretty pumped that I've taken my site from a domain rating of 5 to 30 between May 19th and today. Still work to be done though.

I’m starting to believe that any creative work that is clearly made by AI will end up reducing trust with its intended audience. Sure, bake it into your inward facing stuff, but for client or audience facing work, I think we’re going to see some blowback. (In fact, I think we already are)

What does it say about me that I’m happy to have a different barber every time I get a haircut? Meanwhile, my 6 year old and my wife both have their go to person. Do I need to talk more?

Working on two projects today... - A job board for agency roles updated daily - A vault of all the chart's I've been published on LinkedIn on my website for the last few months. Adding the links in the next post. I'd love any feedback on what would make them more helpful for you.

As an aside, these are still works in progress so there are some very obvious flaws, but I'm all for constructive criticism. vault.hausadvisors.com/ agencyroles.com/

Case in point. I've been creating these charts to accompany my LinkedIn posts. A single insight, visually demonstrated. It's been very effective at stopping the scroll in a channel that's getting increasingly dominated with AI slop. I've had so much good feedback on them that now I'm working on building a free vault of all of them as an additional free resource.
I've been trying to figure out what to post about over here since X fixed the algorithm, and I think I figured it out. I think X is where I talk about what I'm building with Haus Advisors, whereas LinkedIn is where the polished final result is. In short, this is where I'm posting the behind the scenes.
