To be clear: both the Lib Dems and Labour are saying that they will refuse to form a coalition with the Greens, even if it as the expense of a Reform or Tory government, because of a Green Party conference motion condemning a political ideology that’s led to genocide? Really?
I am ruling out our party entering into a national partnership with any party that is committed to a dangerous and antisemitic policy like the Green Party’s. Here is my letter to the Jewish Leadership Council and the Board of Deputies of British Jews 👇

They mention Idi Amin here, who I know very little about. A quick read tells me he was responsible for around 500,000 deaths, expelled 60,000 Asians & expressed support for Hitler. It doesn't mention anything about Amin introducing bus franchising.

There are few more revolting sights than a careless, over-paid Murdoch hack smearing a principled writer who is bravely opposing the brutal slaughter of innocent civilians, many of them children
Boulton "she, in common with a lot of people in Ireland is taking a very strong pro Palestine & I have to say anti Israel & anti Jewish stance" Adam, can you provide evidence that Sally Rooney is taking an anti Jewish stance? Or are you in fact lying to smear critics of Israel?

Remember 'Better Together' claiming Scotland's oil almost worthless and 'gone' by 2019? Yet, it's still worth billions - in Scottish hands. #FreeScotland

Some things the British media and political class have reacted hysterically to during Israel's genocide: - The Maccabi Tel Aviv fan ban - Bob Vylan - Gary Lineker - The Green Party motion Something they have not reacted hysterically to: - The genocide

UK chancellor to meet bank bosses for a pre-budget summit to discuss possible tax raid. Banks profiteering but resent windfall tax. Any chance of ending bank subsidies? Any chance of meeting pensioners, disabled, sick, poor to hear their concerns? news.sky.com/story/healey-su…

The sight of pensioners being handcuffed for holding up signs opposing genocide is a stain on this country. Hundreds of Labour MPs trooped through the voting lobbies to approve it. Not Green MPs or peers. Greens stand by our principles. We say: deproscribe Palestine Action.
Zack Polanski has called for Palestine Action to be de-proscribed. It was met with huge applause from the audience at the party conference in Brighton. trib.al/bWR3j4d

Andy Burnham has suggested he could delay his free national care service well into the 2030s to avoid having to raise taxes to fund it. Speaking on Wednesday, the prime minister acknowledged that savings from the scrapping of the current pensions triple lock would not fund his social care reform plans until later in the next decade. Costings published by the government on Wednesday estimate the pensions policy will save £15bn a year in cash terms by 2039-40, rising to £50bn by 2049-50, equivalent to £11bn and £30bn in current prices. Burnham said that “savings on that scale would be enough to pay for social care, but obviously they’re not released immediately”. Asked by Sky News if tax rises would be required, he said: “No, because there’s a different way of doing it. If you delay the date of introduction and you introduce a national care service progressively.” giftarticle.ft.com/giftartic…
