I can’t believe this is real!!! 🤯
Getting my art onto the Sphere has been my biggest goal for years and now it’s a reality. I’m so grateful and honored, and stoked that @Abel_Okugawa joined me on this ride. His music is the other half of my art 💛
Entranced by “Viridian Lightfall,” the first XO/Art collaboration inspired by 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘻 𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.
Representing Dorothy’s journey from sepia Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, digital artist David Ariew takes viewers on a visual color story that begins in a field of golden light and builds through a crescendo of color before arriving at the luminous green of Emerald City.

One of the coolest things about hybrid filmmaking is being able to preserve a real actor's performance while changing everything around them.
Here's a test where we turned simple greybox footage shot @promise_ai into a cinematic cliffside scene using AI.
Check out the 🧵 below for the exact steps and prompts we used in this workflow.

When a vfx pro like hector conjures up worlds in houdini using voice notes - it just mogs all other opus builds.
Seasoned creators can zoom out to create at an unprecedented scale without losing track of the details.
Because they go from playing the instruments to conducting the orchestra.
The future is nowwwww 🤯

Such beautiful work it’s absurd 🤩

Amazing to see people experiencing my mirror dimension 🫶🪞
From 2 years to a few days of rendering.
@DavidAriew rendered his 16K Quantum Stargate for @artechouse on Render Network. On one of his own machines, he calculated it would have taken two years.
Experience it at ARTECHOUSE DC as part of SUBMERGE.

The neat thing about my workflow is its the same whether I'm making a realistic or stylized illustration!
The thing that sets them apart is the shaders. In my upcoming course, I'll set you up with the foundation to be able go into your own direction!

💯 agree with this. The more fidelity you create in 3D the more you’re actually constraining the model and introducing unrealistic animation.
True especially for characters!

Best of the best 🔥
The power of combining Houdini with generative AI and then scaling it across production work flows is absolutely mind blowing! What you are seeing in this video is a crowd favorite, a threading technique that we have been using for years for clients. And after running some tests, we are showing the scaling of that procedural technique across all four sports leagues ~ 120 teams. Completely automated. HUGE shoutout to our team for continuing to push these CG + Ai workflows
This is going to be RIDICULOUS ❤️🔥

Sooooooo COOL!!!
The Remaining View is a simple idea, with the intention that the blind doesn’t simply cover the landscape, but that the landscape reorganizes itself around what is still visible. The tree bends, the sun moves, and time passes. Instead of hiding behind the horizon, the sun becomes the moon, rolling through the grass.
It’s still a piece in evolution, and I’m continuing to push the technology behind it, but I really liked the simplicity of the idea and couldn’t resist sharing it already.
