“Land doesn’t vote, people do” This objection misses that the point of the post below was to demonstrate how amendment 6 is contrary to America’s historic theory of representative governance, which seeks to protect rights through the diffusion of political power in elected representatives. This republican form of government provides representation for the whole state, not just those who live in a few densely populated areas. So no, "land doesn't vote." But those who live across the land of Missouri have representation through the legislature that checks the political interests of others across the state— a political power that will be greatly diminished if amendment 6 passes. Thus, far from empowering "the people," amendment 6 disempowers a great many people by removing the checks and balances that currently exist to protect the rights and interests of those across the whole state. Bottom line Amendment 6 will eviscerate representative government in Missouri and replace it with billionaire activists and special interest groups in the name of "democracy." If you truly want the will of all the people in Missouri represented, Vote NO on 6.
“will of the people” NO on 6.

This is reality in Missouri. Amendment 3 repeals the 2024 abortion amendment and restores health and safety protections for women. Vote YES on Amendment 3. #MOLeg

What if one of North America’s most urgent mission fields is closer than we think? More than 80% of the U.S. population lives in urban areas. Yet many of the missionaries serving these communities are doing so without the same support systems we’ve long recognized as essential for international missions. In this new Urban Missions NEXT article, Dhati Lewis challenges the Church to rethink not only how we reach our cities, but how we sustain the leaders called to them for the long haul. Swipe through for a few highlights, then read “By All Possible Means: Reclaiming the Mission Field We’ve Avoided” at exponential.org/articles.

There’s a lot of grass roots support against amendment 3. There are #NoOn3 signs everywhere across the state. Vote no to save women’s sports, prohibit castration of children, and to prevent abortions and babies that can feel pain. #ProLife

We're going to hammer this home ad nauseam until Election Day. Amendment 3 in Missouri would destroy our children. It would enshrine abortion up to the point of birth and allow for the genital mutilation of Missouri kids. VOTE NO.

The ideological beliefs of these “leaders” takes precedent over doing their jobs; providing quality basic City services! It’s all starting to backfire! The sane constituents see through the ridiculousness!

If you want to understand what's happening.
New GDP numbers: our real economy is shriveling while we borrow our way to fake prosperity. Mainstream media cheers “stunning and spectacular” GDP numbers bought with $2.7 trillion in federal debt. In reality, without the debt the economy actually shrank, with roughly 2/3 of the debt going to waste. This matches up with other data saying most new jobs — hence most new spending — is either government or government-assistance like migrants or welfare. What the Wall Street Journal calls the “Welfare Industrial Complex.”

"There is no other stream."
Are you not thirsty?" said the Lion. “I am dying of thirst," said Jill. “Then drink," said the Lion. “May I — could I — would you mind going away while I do?" said Jill. The Lion answered this only by a look and a very low growl. And as Jill gazed at its motionless bulk, she realized that she might as well have asked the whole mountain to move aside for her convenience. The delicious rippling noise of the stream was driving her nearly frantic. "Will you promise not to — do anything to me, if I do come?" said Jill. “I make no promise," said the Lion. Jill was so thirsty now that, without noticing it, she had come a step nearer. "Do you eat girls?" she said. “I have swallowed up girls and boys, women and men, kings and emperors, cities and realms," said the Lion. It didn't say this as if it were boasting, nor as if it were sorry, nor as if it were angry. It just said it. “I daren't come and drink," said Jill. "Then you will die of thirst," said the Lion. “Oh dear!" said Jill, coming another step nearer. "I suppose I must go and look for another stream then." "There is no other stream," said the Lion. - C.S. Lewis, The Silver Chair

On this day, many years ago, I was born. I’m not the “residue of the rapist”, as one politician called me. I’m the resilience of my birthmom. I’m the son of 2 parents who chose & cherished me. I’m a blessed husband & dad to 4 kids. I’m the son of the King. No one is better off dead. We’re all better off loved. radiance.life/meanttobe

Not only does Rank Choice voting overly complicate a ballot, it has been shown to truly disenfranchise the true wishes of a voter. A candidate with marginal support may move ahead and it really produces a fake majority. #LeadRight @BenBakerMO #StopRCV #moleg #HJR66
