Babe Ruth warming up in Cleveland in 1920, his first season with the Yankees. There isn't a milestone attached to the footage, and that is part of the appeal.
More than a century later, simply seeing Ruth move through a normal pregame routine is historically valuable.

Cliff Lee didn’t even watch the final out land in Elvis Andrus’ glove. He was already walking toward home plate.
On Oct. 12, 2010, Lee struck out 11, walked nobody and finished a complete-game 5-1 win over Tampa Bay.
Texas lost both games in Arlington, won all three in Tampa and claimed the first postseason series victory in franchise history.
Man, that celebration was a long time coming.

Stan Musial's career is almost comically complete.
3,630 hits, 475 home runs, a .331 average, seven batting titles, three MVP awards, three World Series championships and 24 All Star selections. This isn't one highlight carrying the argument. The entire 22 season career is the argument.
Very few players combined average, power, longevity and team success this consistently for this long.

This man found his missing Tom Brady card in his childhood bedroom 🤯
A collector in Maryland pulled this Tom Brady autograph card when he was 12 years old in 2002. As a Steelers fan, he paid little attention to the Patriots card and eventually lost track of it.
For years, he told one of his best friends about the card, but his friend didn’t believe him. When his mom started cleaning out his childhood bedroom and told him to grab his cards before they were thrown away, he searched through his childhood collection and finally found it.
The card is numbered to 150 and features Brady’s autograph alongside a piece of game-used football from his first Super Bowl.

Greg Maddux won 18 Gold Gloves. That's more than any player at any position in MLB history, with Brooks Robinson and Jim Kaat next at 16. Pitchers aren't supposed to own the all-time Gold Glove record.
Maddux's defense is a good reminder that his baseball intelligence didn't stop when the pitch left his hand.

On Sept. 29, 2019, the Rangers played the final game at Globe Life Park, the place we still called The Ballpark.
For 25 seasons, it was summer heat, fireworks, Juan Gone and Pudge, Michael Young and Hambone, Beltré, October and ordinary nights you never knew you’d miss this much.
Lance Lynn struck out 10 as Texas beat the Yankees 6-1, with Ballpark-era greats returning to the field afterward.
Later that day, home plate crossed the street. The rest of us carried 25 summers home.
