Northern Bottlenose Whales here 1430-1500hrs at least, between mouth of Cromarty Firth and Balintore. They've done a big circuit today having been off Nairn and Nairn Bar this morning.

I've never seen Canada Geese on the beach at Nairn before, just a few yards off to the right were 67 Pale-bellied Brents. I reckon the Canada in the middle might pass as a Todds if it were in a flock of Pinkfeet
